Morning drive into and around downtown Chicago before 7am, then heading back to the hotel. Chicago, on Lake Michigan in Illinois, is among the largest cities in the U.S. Famed for its bold architecture, it has a skyline punctuated by skyscrapers such as the iconic John Hancock Center, 1,451-ft. Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) and the neo-Gothic Tribune Tower. The city is also renowned for its museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago with its noted Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works. Chicago's gross metropolitan product (GMP) was the third largest in the United States in 2020, after New York and Los Angeles.

I like Chicago's vibe way better than any other American city. Its large avenues, highrises, the nature, the lake... it's a big city but livable...not fast paced and packed like NYC nor a hellish suburbia like L.A❤

Parts of Chicago remind me of New York. The street at 5:55 is something like Park Avenue. At 15:50, it kind of looks like the FDR Drive. Chicago also rivals Manhattan when it comes to skyscrapers.

Chicago is actually so nice, the actual problem of America is that its a country thats quite easy to think about the negatives of the country, countries like canada ireland austria and others may also have homeless ppl in cities but its harder to have that perception about them comapred to US

Thanks for showing the city but I've never understood why you do Chicago while it's dead at off-peak hours but not other cities. If you're here again you should drive through Fulton Market, Gold Coast , Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview etc. There's still so many beautiful urban areas outside of the Loop.

Noone in Chicago gets up early during weekends. Weekend sunrise like what OP is filming here is Chicago's kryptonite. Everyone stays up until like 4am. Why would anyone wake up at 5am on a day off 😂 btw OP is doing this to actually get footage of the city instead of capturing a bunch of cars barely moving. Chicago has the worst traffic in the country

That's only because NYC builds in random spots Chicago can build taller buildings and still have one of the best skylines in USA Chicago builds based on grid pattern NYC just builds in any area they can find now New York use to be neat in 80s and 90s now from above NYC looks like a sci-fi dystopian mega city New York is just building stuff at this point I'm sick of it it needs no more tall buildings it has enough
