One of the nice things about living in Grants Pass Oregon, are all of the mountain roads out in the forest. This video was taken with a Gopro camera in the 4K mode at 30 frames per second.
Nice drive Dave! Thanks for this I very much enjoyed it. The Camera on the top of the vehicle and natural audio provides a unique and relaxing perspective that could be a genre deserving of it's own channel "Driving Southern Oregon". How did you prevent all the wind noise? A sunshade might help the sun flare and if you had a remote gimbal to rotate and zoom the camera would be nice as well. I saw a channel from a guy in Japan who mounted a Cinema camera on a gimbal on the hood of his car and drove around Nagoya and Osaka with classy and classic Japanese pop music. It was quite mesmerizing, and you've inspired me to try to do similar with a 4k cinema camera and try to do a wind-proof stereo mic that can capture natural sounds like you have here without the wind noise.
I think the driving videos are interesting to people. I posted a dashcam video of me driving through the restricted fire area during the Taylor Creek fire and it got 50,000 views on Facebook.
@@GrantsPassTVRepair do your drives on a different channel but list it as another one of your channels on your main channel and you can put in little promos talking about your other channel. "If you want to see videos of drives around the Southern Oregon area click here"
Nope, no texting while driving that road. Hell, I wouldn't answer a Bluetooth call while driving that road. We have steep ravines in Southwest Mississippi; but, they are dirt/gravel roads and you generally don't drive over 15 mph.
@@GrantsPassTVRepair How about a drive up to the caves, or the road that runs along the river in Selma past John Wayne's cabin or a drive up to one of the fire lookout stations?
@@jackoneil3933 I wouldn't mind if I get a service call out that way, but I think some of the side roads of Merlin Galice Road would be nice. Especially if I bring a raft.
