This trip begins on US 11 headed southbound leading into Bloomsburg. The trip then turns left on PA 487 and soon crosses the Susquehanna River and then continues along PA 487 through Catawissa to the intersection of PA 487 and PA 54 at Elysburg. At approximately 15:30 on the right, the trip passes Southern Columbia High School. Southern Columbia is a small high school football power in Pennsylvania which has won many state championships under their longtime head coach. At approximately 18:40 on the left, the trip passes Knoebel's Amusement Park. Knoebel's is beloved by many and has several unique features which are well known to amusement park enthusiasts.
