I have just returned from Beverly Hills to see my son who lives there. I drove through this stunning area with family members and it was a joy to see these beautiful residences under a Californian blue sky and lush greenery. Unforgettable experience.
You don't know how much this means to me. I am poor and disabled. I can't explore like I want to. This is so awesome. Thank you (and wow, the fact that you got Diddy's place in this footage with the reporters there is crazy).
I'm so glad you enjoyed my video! I had originally planned to do the drive the day before. Glad I didn't because that's when Diddy's home got raided and that whole block was closed off. I didn't think there would be reporters. But was pretty cool to drive thru that! Thanks for watching!
That driveway to the right at 29:27, flanked by the statuary, is the entrance to 355 Carrollwood, which Walt Disney purchased in 1948, He called it his "dream home" and lived there until his death in 1966.
Part of this was my school bus route from home (Cielo Dr) to University High. And later driving to work from Sherman Oaks, down Benedict Canyon or Beverly Glen depending on traffic, through BH to Sunset and Sherbourne (Tower Records location). The traffic got so horrendous over the years we moved to Vegas! This was a fun drive down memory lane. ❤
Oh nice! Great area! Must have been interesting growing up here. Tower records is now a Supreme store. Vegas must've been a bit of an adjustment! Thanks for watching!
A lovely day for a drive and a beautiful area. You can see clearly that spring has arrived with all the green trees. I must say some of those hedges were huge. I'm guessing over 30 feet tall.? As for garbage disposal day.. you don't need to worry.. we all have to deal with it. Thank you for another wonderful drive. GOD bless
Susan, I used to live in Beverly Hills, and I can tell you that the very tall hedges in most cases is not just for privacy it also provides noise reduction just like a barrier from traffic and leaf blower noise. I'm glad I don't live there anymore but, now I, live in a very similar type neighborhood across the country and much quieter.
Thank you for providing this very nice drive through Holmby Hills on such a lovely spring day. It is a shame that so many people have to guard their privacy and security behind gates and walls and shrubs. If the rest of the world would be respectful and behave themselves, there would be no need for such barricades and we would surely get to see some beautiful homes.
Breathing the Rarefied Air of Holmby Hills...The best way to get around height restrictions on fences is to install massive hedges to keep the lookie loos out! Imagine how many people make a living out of just trimming those hedges. Some of those mansions have 10-20 compost bins!
Finally somebody reaches MJ home street in these Holmby Hills drives, 😅 thank you. Too bad all these houses are hidden behind gates and walls and trees 💚🎵🎶💟
❤ 🌹🌷 Hello my friend and hello my Los Angeles and thank you so much my friend beautiful авто прогулку, Очень красивые деревья в доль трассы и такие же красивые 🏠, Очень хорощий район,❤❤🌹🌷🎊😊560
Thank you for this video tour but next time can you show us Delfern St and N Carolwood Dr please if you ever do another tour around this neighborhood...
Bonjour cher ami je suis nouvelle dans votre chene et je suis contente de découvrir les endroit américain, merci pour cette magnifique visite ton nouvelle ami. Aïcha. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏💐💐💐👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹👏👏👏🎄🇩🇿🇺🇸🇩🇿🇺🇸🇩🇿😍🥰❤💙💚
I'm amazed at the amount of greenery in the high-dollar neighborhoods, considering that LA is naturally arid. Water and tree-maintenance bills must be astronomical.
I always heard that Holmby Hills was the neighborhood that old time movie star Humphrey Bogart lived with Bacall when he headed the Rat Pack (drinking club) .
Humphrey Bogart's House is the house/driveway right before all the news reporters at P.Diddy's house at 5:11. They would've been neighbors if they lived on the street at the same time.
Thanks for your enjoyable, relaxing videos. Holmby Hills is one of the most beautiful, privileged neighborhoods in the world. It’s so privileged, with celebrities and billionaires residing there, that they prefer to hide behind walls and huge hedges to protect their privacy.
Ok, questions…..just off Sunset at 7:27, do you know who’s gigantic house this is being built? Next, just FYI, from 7:32-9:09 on the RIGHT is (I believe) Jay Z and Beyoncés new house, still under construction (they also just paid $200 million for a Malibu house, highest price paid ever in California). Can you confirm? Next question, what’s going on with “The Mapleton Estate” from 10:06-10:26 on the right, it’s on TWO giant lots….is it ever going to be completed?! I believe from 11:07-11:17 on the left was Ellen’s modern looking home, just FYI. Last question, two giant estates near Sunset (Holmby Hills) were recently torn down, have you heard if those lots will be combined? Great video! 👍
Жители этого района очень замкнуты. Пешеходов и бегунов на этом участке нет. В большинстве домов часто есть крытые спортивные залы. Думаю, по этой причине здесь намеренно не положили тротуары. Спасибо за просмотр!
Hello. I want to ask you why not all cars in America have front plates, for example, in your video with Tesla and Audi cars? I also wanted to know "Synergy" is the name of the gas station?
It's normally illegal to not have a front license plate on cars. But I recently heard that if the car doesn't have holes like most Teslas on the front bumper that it isn't a requirement. Not sure if that's true.
I think it's done on purpose. Especially in this area. The overly affluent residents don't want the normal public to be walking or coming into their area. There are security cameras every where. The only people I visually see on these streets are the construction workers or landscapers/gardeners. Thanks for watching!
Wonder why all the news reporters kept filming you with their phones as you drove by? I guess they try to cover all the bases in case you're someone important, lol.
Putting aside the real estate cost to live here, I do understand for those who can afford to live in the hills do. I have lived both on the spanish coast (mountain/hill location) and UK London /Country locations). I always avoid the so called 'front line' homes..just to be able to be on the outside of all the 'noise and crap' it attracts (and travel into it if I want/need to). Never understood the race for front-line properties. Perhaps it's just to say 'I Iive front line!".
Can you explain what "front line properties" means? I've never heard this before. I'm assuming it just means expensive? Spanish coast sounds amazing to be living at! Thanks for watching
Hi Omv, Wonderfull time trolling around with you in that rich place. It's true, wealth dwell among the clean, order, scent, isn't? abundance cannot mingle with filth , dirt and untidy , disorder. Omv, I wonder why most of poor worship God and most of rich don't. what do you think about that? I notice as always, few people walk the street. It's like a ghost town. People are mostly live indoor. Love driving with you fast and fierce drive.
Yes I did. I had actually planned to do the drive the day of the raid. But decided to do it the next day. Glad I did too because I wouldn't have gotten thru.
