yeah its crazy how good he is to be able to sign and within days without even really getting to know the players he can walk out v man utd and pull off a clean sheet and a worldie game. He really is verthongen 2.0 and potentially can be even better which is crazyyyyyyy. To have his height but also be fast and silky on the ball. WE HAVE STOLE HIM at the price we paid.

The entire point of the stadium and all the concerts, the NFL, the F1 karting …all of that is so the club never feels financial pressure to sell players off like they did with Modric and Bale. If the player wants to go, like Kane, that’s different, but the entire point of diversifying the revenue streams is so that big player sales aren’t necessary

Yes, he is huge for us, and very talented with a dominant presence. But, I love how Tottenham is getting the right players who are not only talented, but good people - hard-working, kind, and humble. We are not just building a football team, we are building a brotherhood. Fabio Paratici really deserves praise for bringing in this new young cohort of talented players.

Just shows how clued up he is to his surroundings. The fact that he noticed the route change so quickly. That is great awareness to have, especially for a defender. Bearing in mind he just moved here. And may not be that familiar with the different ways from the training ground to his home yet. Once he gets settled in properly I think him and Romero could be our new Jan & Toby.

You can see his actual personality on the pitch - calm, thoughtful and aware of surroundings! Great addition to our club. (Crazy that he was in the Ajax crowd that night, what an amazing feeling to now be playing for the club, albeit only Sonny left from that night).
