Driving in Japan, R49 | Road trip from Fukushima to Niigata on the nature-rich Echigo Kaido Road 

The whole drive on route 49, from coast to coast, was very interesting. I find that the most scenic spot of this route is the section along Inawashiro Lake, very beautiful there.
