Driving from North Miami Beach to the area of Cutler Bay while avoiding bad drivers on the passing lane. Beautiful Miami weather and sunny skies with minor showers.
As more and more people move to Florida from colder states to prolong their lives, traffic will continue to get worse to a point in which the Palmetto Expressway will be bumper to bumper for the entire 24-mile length of the highway in a few years even beyond rush hour.
Just so you're aware, the speed limits in an express lane and general purpose lane are the same. Express doesn't mean you can speed, it's to bypass heavy traffic. You certainly can get a ticket. I know most people speed anyways, just have to be aware of what you're doing.
I’m well aware, but thank you. The mere fact that these lanes were blocked to make them express lanes does not excuse anyone from driving like they’re on the general lanes. Makes no sense whatsoever especially when you’re being charged extra for utilizing these lanes. No one is saying to speed, but at least drive with a sense of purpose.
If you criticize other drivers you probably shouldn't 1) speed 2) tailgate 3) overtake on the right 4) cross double solid white lines and 5) have wrong conception of what express lanes are designed for. Peace.
More than likely you’re one of those drivers that make this town the laughing stock. Do yourself a favor, learn, shut up and get out of the way. Peace.
