In this video you can ride along on R1 from Cetinje to Kotor in Montenegro. This is one of the most scenic rides in Montenegro, reaching altitudes of 1000 meters and higher. Driving through Lovćen National Park, there is the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic-Njegos that you can drive up to. Up there are amazing views of the surrounding area, including the Bay of Kotor and the Adriatic Sea.
Unfortunately we didn't get around to visiting the Mausoleum, but the drive on the R1 at least gave us some of the amazing views. This was probably also the best sunset we had seen this year, the video doesn't really do it justice. The serpentine road down to Kotor is old and can be challenging to navigate, especially in a bigger car. During the day there can also be tourist buses on this route, making it even harder to pass other traffic.
I experimented with different playback speeds in the video to focus on the best parts of the drive while fast forwarding some other parts of the drive. The playback speed is indicated on screen. If you wish to have a different playback speed, you can always turn off the sound of the video and choose a different playback speed on the youtube video.
