I pay 250 rs daily ( 5 days per week )for 110 kilometer..Pakistani middle class is in large number and financially stable thats the reason why motrways network is sprawling in entire country.

And btw roads are more important than rails..as China and USA have more than 2 lac kilometers of motorways network which is recently built and are bulidng more motorways or expressways.european countries are also moving towards smart motorways.

Dear brother, Pakistan is not over crowded any where, roads travel or trains. However, Motorways are popular in Pakistan. You can go Lahore to China border at this kind of top class roads. However, when our politicians talk about poverty, that is our level, not like India, for example 25 people die ever day at Dehli due to hunger. But people here never die in such situations even at remote areas. When we call poverty here in Pakistan, that not mean hunger, that s mean quality of life.
