Melbourne is awesome. So are other Australian cities like Sydney, Brisbane and Perth. We are so fortunate to live in this beautiful country. Not all Aussies realize that.
@@mickanvonfootscraymarket5520 Absolutely. Adelaide is small but has its own charm. Its just that Melbourne 'HAS' the total package - size, lifestyle, diversity, entertainment, AFL, racing, food, parks, education and everything. Also, its a well planned city that follows the American-style grid system. Sydney is all over the place in that respect.
I was an undergraduate student at UniMelb. Had to move back to my home country due to Covid. I grieved for a long time because it was an unexpected turn and I wasn't prepared to say goodbye. Your video is really comforting to watch. Thank you! Hopefully I can go back someday. :) x
No worries. I am pretty sure that you are aware Melbourne is reopened and people can fly in with certain vaccine certificates and no quarantine required . Hope you will be back to your uni soon.
I lost my job in Melbourne due to Covid and had to return to my home country. I lived there for just under 8 years and I miss it to pieces. This was such a heart warming experience for me! Thank you xx
@@lolcadena3462 I came over as a student and completed my degree there, which is why I stayed for so long. The degree that I received isn't on the skilled migrant list so I was never able to get PR. Depending upon your field, it can be hard to permanently immigrate to Aus, unfortunately!
Third generation Australian my children are fourth generation Australians. We all know it's the best country in,the world. great video thanks for sharing 👍
It is interesting to see the number of trams on the streets. An excellent alternative to buses, which take up a lot of space, contribute to traffic jams, and pollute too much. Respect from Brazil 🇧🇷🇦🇺
Canadian here - was fascinated by the right turn lanes to the left of flowing traffic. Went down the Google rabbit hole and learned from your beautiful city the efficiency of “Hook Turns.” I don’t understand why more cities don’t use this where streetcars/trams are used!
Lived in Melbourne for 5 years, returned to my home country for work a few months before COVID. Thank you for reminding how much I love and miss this city. Hopefully I will be able to visit again.
Oh my God, What a beautiful City, I would love to Visit Australia,I am from Nigeria, Any one who can invite or send me invitation? God bless Australia. I dream of that country everyday
Used to be far, far cleaner. When I first came to Melbourne 33 years ago littering fines were actually enforced. Now there is litter everywhere. The beach is full of it.
I thought Australia just dessert and.thier unique animal...becouse its rare to see news about Australia on tv..but now I can see the beauty in this country ..thanks for sharing...
Yeah that is a very limited view of Australia. Most of the population live in cities which rank in the 10 most liveable worldwide, we are one of the most developed counties in the world, and have a very high standard of living which is also one of the best in the world. Pretty much no one lives in the outback.
i am moving melbourne for my further studies and i feel nothing but excited to go there after watching all these beautiful footage from your channel hope i will never get enough of this place even after i get there and i want to surf along the city in a skateboard which is not possible in my country ! my college is in the elizabeth streets hope i can travel through this beautiful city in a skateboard and have all the pleasure once i get there!
A wonderful city was there in 2019 was at Melbourne Cup fantastic city beautiful beach in St kilda love Australia 🇦🇺❤ would love to meet a Australia lady
Thank for the drive through Spencer Street. Wow is there construction going on there as there are barriers and road blocks on the road. I was looking out for Lonsdale Street for my apartment which I have not seen yet since Covid. Melbourne ever changing Skyline. Love it.
Hi Lynn, thanks for dropping by. I have another video(Driving from rainy to sunny) in which I was driving along Lonsdale Street from Spencer Street to Exhibition Street. You probably could have a blick of your apartment:)
Thank you for this effort you go to, Melbourne was my home of my youth and i will always remember our good times in the pubs along the edges of toorak rd, the city planners of the day were ahead of the game with toorak rd, us kiwis wt ere very impressed at the city transport we were given having just arrived from Young following a disatorous fruit picking trip arranged from some bodgy crowd to attract kiwis to poungick cherrys for 4cents pr lb in the shit in Young , nsw, so there you go suckers
Love the Vid m8! Went for a walk yesterday around crown and Southbank in the amazing weather. Went and saw the new tallest building in Melbourne, (Don't know the name) it looked better than the Eureka Tower. You nearly passed me. Was this filmed yesterday?
That's a unique traffic rule here in Melbourne called Hook Turn. You should learn how to perform hook turn before you drive in Melbourne city. Here is a link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yh92LirlCf8.html
Big cities have always fascinated me, even though I live in Italy that has so much history and beauty. But I do love “big spaces”. Surely Sidney and Melbourne are on my trip list. But also few cities in Canada and U.S. (been to Mexico and Colombia). But also Japan (been to S. Korea) Geez, there are too many places on my list. I already know most of European countries. By the way, been to Ireland twice, they know how to have fun there! My point? The whole world is beautiful!
love this. thanks for the video. bring back all the good memories. I have been to many cities in the world but must say Melbourne is very beautiful, unique city. one of the best or maybe the best city for me in the world.
I live in a taylors Lakes Melbourne. l don't go into the city much becouse we got everything we need in the suburbs including pubs great food and large shopping centres.
