4K60P Scenic driving on the one of most beautiful and dangerous highway in Xinjiang, China - the North Section of Duku Heavenly Highway, also known as the China National Highway G217, from Dushanzi, Karamay to Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture.
🛣 Duku Highway or Tianshan Road, is the section from Dushanzi District of Karamay to Kuqa of National Highway 217, it's the southern section of National Highway 217 connecting the north and south of Xinjiang. It is also called Tianshan Highway because it crosses the Tianshan Mountains. It starts from Dushanzi District, Karamay City, the oil city in northern Xinjiang, and ends at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountains and Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture in southern Xinjiang on the northern edge of the Tarim Basin, with a total length of 561 kilometers.
The Duku Highway is a veritable "landscape avenue", from the Dushanzi Grand Canyon at the starting point, to the Nalati and Bayinbulak grasslands along the highway, and then to the Kuqa Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon at the end. Along the Duku Highway, you can pass through Yilianhabilga Mountain, Boluokonu Mountain, Awulale Mountain, Nalati Mountain, Erbin Mountain, Haerke Mountain, Yining and Kuqa Basin.
