depends....SA doesn't have as many ultra-rich areas like Houston does, but it's also a lot less crowded and so the city resources are not as over-burdened as Houston
Live in midtown San Antonio but family in hill country San Antonio . Love my city . We’re not like Houston or Dallas , San Antonio and Austin are hilly country terrain.
I just moved to San Antonio a few weeks ago and love it here. Fredericksburg is a great town with a wonderful Main Street filled with all kinds of cool shops. Kerrville has a folk/Bluegrass festival every year that is supposed to be great- I think it runs 2 weeks. It’s coming up again soon. I just had my best BBQ in Lockhart at Smitty’s. If you go, order the chops! Enjoy your time here in Texas!
Myers in Elgin is my favorite, but Blacks is a very close second. Their brisket is the best but Myers sausage is absolute perfection. Smitty's is a close third. Their sides are amazing
Best Mexican is at Blanco Cafe, 1720 Blanco rd. Ask for the Deluxe Mexican plate or a daily lunch special like Calabasa con Puerco or Pollo. Not fancy, just great. Best BBQ here is the Old Smokehouse on Fredericksburg rd. Best fancy Mexican is Hacienda de Los Barrios, Viola's Ventanas, or Los Barrios all owned by the Barrios family.
Haven't taken 281 in ages. The construction between Spring Branch and 1604 made for miserable driving. I wouldn't drive it south of Lampasas except in the middle of the night.
@@texasred2702 I can forsee an outer loop that bypasses i-35 at New Braunfels and San Marcos through the hills from 281. Today TXDOT began a project to double deck I 35 from 1604 to FM 3009.. This is going to be a congested nightmare. I want to move out of this urban area
I moved from Orlando to San Antonio area a few months ago....I miss the lakes of Central Florida but San Antonio has way better rivers to swim in and actual elevation not just flat swamps everywhere
Oh hell no I’ve been living here 20 years in Texas drivers are the worst especially here in San Antonio the most disrespectful damn people I’ve ever seen they all need to go back to school and get education on how to drive
I don't know why anybody would be driving this way to San Antonio I'd be driving the other goddamn direction to San Antonio sucks the big ones I live here I know it sucks it's worthless

I didn’t realize there was an HOV lane on I10 in SA. Y’all should have explorer La Cantera area much better than 410/i10 area. Your final Destination in Balcones Heights Is the Hialeah of San Antonio.
I live in San Antonio. I love San Antonio. Please don't move to San Antonio and fuck it up like you've done to Califronia, Oregon and Washington State. Just say no? No, just don't come here!!
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Yeah, that's why we had to kick their asses at San Jacinto. Then we made them give up California, New Mexico, Arizona, and other parts when they came back for round 2.
75% of the city is essentially flat, but the north side is where it starts to get really hilly, and north of city limits towards bulverde it gets REALLY hilly fast.
