Driving My 2.9 Corrado VR6! 

That VR6 sound is unbeatable

Can‘t wait to drive my VR6 Rado when I‘m done restoring it. It‘s a flashred 92, I‘ve torn it down to rebuild and repaint it for almost 3 years now. My first car was a 91 US G60 with the automatic belts, I still regret selling it. Take good care of your Corrado mate, lovely car! Cheers

You drove right by where I live. That stretch running alongside the m3 up towards Virginia Water is great for sending it, regularly smash it up there in my celica gt4

My dad had one of these as a company car in the early 90s I remember being driven in that and being amazed at the speed sensitive rear spoiler As a 7/8 year old it might as well have been a Ferrari I believe it was a 1.8 but that was enough, would love to drive a VR6

Love the Corrado mate. I’d be careful with uploading stuff like this, I’m reading more and more cases where people have been prosecuted over RU-vid footage, with some forces even going as far as working speed out based on landmark to landmark if they can’t see the Speedo

An idea for the next video is your review after 3-4-5 months of ownership problems you ran into can you use it as a daily? Running prices? future plans for the vr6? did it live up to your expectations 👍

The filter needs a heat shield, it's close to the oil cooler, not a huge problem, but you probably lose power when it warms up fully.

Love to know the exhaust set up on this...how to get this sound out of my VR6 which is due for a new exhaust!

Hey mate. Just stumbled across your channel. Love the car... I just wanted to mention with regards to your road taxing issue have you checked if it can be made exempt under classic car status? If so its simple to do so and will save you taxing it. Please check with dvla. All the best.

I’ve a vr6 exactly the same as yours and I got my steering wheel re trimmed , have you ever looked into a short shift , I’d like one but can’t see any suitable

Hi, please could you tell me what wiper arms you have? They look you change them. Mine don't wipe correctly the windscreen. Typical in corrados.

Good video geezer. My advice as a fellow owner. Check, and if in doubt replace the timing chains and tensioner's. It will cost you now but will pay off when selling. If there is no history, bite the bullet and get them replaced. Swap the interior with leather. Any colour you wish but with blue paint (moonlight), black or grey leather is best. Whilst you have the door cards off, replace both window regulators, and any switch gear or audio that looks like it's on its last legs. Get a set of original Speedline 15" wheels. These are going up in value so get them when you can. If you can get 5,all the better. Don't fit a short shifter........these only promote over driving, and no potential buyer wants to buy a seemingly well preserved classic car, only to find out it has been upgraded with " spank me harder" parts. I promise you that you will look back and thank yourself for preserving these types of vehicles for what they once were, and be able to compare them to what ever is being made now. Miss that sound, is that Chobham Common / Longcross / Egham? Edit : I knew it. Grew up in Windlesham so used to rag my Mk2 16V along there. Also 8:40 is where some twat lost it in an MX5 and took out my mum’s car at the start of lockdown.
