As a mechanic who specializes in European cars, I’ve gotten to drive several Countach’s over the years, and despite all the awful things you hear about driving one, I LOVE them. The brake, clutch & transmission do require some effort, but it’s not nearly as bad as you’ve heard. The gated transmission is a joy because it’s VERY accurate and has a satisfying feel. The handling is very tactile and accurate, and it only improves with speed. I’m only 5’8” so I don’t have a problem fitting in the car. The downsides of owning one are so numerous though, I wouldn’t buy one even if I could afford one. But if you can find something who will let you drive their Countach, DO IT!!!!
