Daytona Beach, or just Daytona, is nicknamed as The World's Most Famous Beach. It is home to the headquarters of NASCAR and is known for its hard-packed sand. The sand allows motor vehicles to access the beach. The old Daytona Beach and Road Course hosted races for over 50 years. For an admission fee of $20, I brought my car on the sand at Ormond Beach and drove south to Daytona Beach. I got stuck in some soft hand and needed to dig my way out of a hole.
