I've taken off many locking wheel locks with aluminum wheels by using a solid bar the same size as the wheel lock and hitting it with a large hammer. It will compress the aluminum thus loosening the wheel lock. You can then take a flat head screw driver and unscrew the wheel lock. It's not a perfect method but when customers loose the wheel lock key you have to try something. I tried this back in 1973 where I worked and its worked every time since.
Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVO law)!!!!!!
I'm 74 years old. There is not much left for older people, with classic autos being one item. Oil is what made the world what it is today, not saying some things should change. Sad state of affairs with these fools in charge. Believe me, it's coming. Old people will not be wanted soon, eliminate them as well...
California cannot figure out how to make its power grid robust enough to handle a hot summer. So they're certainly not in a position to handle mass EV adoption.
