When you get bored of regular supercars and hypercars, there exists a segment of street legal racecars like the Ariel Atom, Caterhams and this...the BAC Mono. Somehow still street legal, the BAC Mono is one of the most extreme vehicles you can buy. With hypercar power-to-weight ratio, a sequential transmission, advanced suspension and lightweight carbon fiber bodywork. These cars really belong on the track to explore their full potential, but as I did not have access to a racetrack...I decided to take this one for a drive on the road to see what it was like. It was...absolutely insane. A $250,000 toy that makes GT3 RS and Huracan STOs feel ordinary, the Mono was mind-scramblingly crazy. Plus when I took the car out, it started to rain.
