The 2014 burgundy with the black stripes was my dream car! I ended with a 3.6 KenneBell 2010 GT500 840whp it was a monster! My 22 GT Whipple with close to the same HP feels nowhere near as far!!!
Something to think about … first 351 Mustang ‘69… Last 351 Mustang ‘14 GT500! 45 years between the 5.8s!!! Bad to the Bone!!!🐍🐍🐍 My buddy in Florida has a ‘69 Mach 1… with the 351 …and we have talked about this! He said he would love to have a ‘14 5.8 GT500!
There’s just one problem, the ‘13/‘14 GT500 is a 355… not a 351. 354.6 ci to be precise If you doubt it, do the math yourself. 3.681” bore x 4.165” stroke

When the 13-14 gt500 came out there was literally nothing that can touch that car nothing the hellcat wasn’t around yet it is the best mustang ever made no disrespect to the 2020 gt500’s or the terminators but god there is just something about a 13-14 gt500 it’s almost like the C6ZR1 for corvette guys and the viper for the mopar guys
I absolutely agree Ford needs to make a 427 coyote... Ford needs to make a new Boss 427 with Coyote Heads.. Just make a bigger version of it.. Since the 60's Ford has done amazing things with a little 289 and then 302 but it's time for Ford to bring back some more displacement..

I just got my 2013 black 20th anniversary vert in may with 5900 miles on it. It now has 10,200 miles and I haven’t even gone on a trip lol. Love driving it. I always liked the glass roofs even though everyone shit on them when they first came out cause they added weight blah blah blah.

All it takes to get Jacob quiet is a 5.8 with a loud exhaust and poor microphones while doing in car filming :) As for me? 2014 Shelby GT500 Super Snake - Silver/Grey with black stripes.
These engines can handle way more than 850rwhp but the caveat is that the factory rods are weak. The manley H-beam rods are not in this variant compared to the Terminator. From history stand point, it was a anamoly that chief engineer John Coletti was able to get those forged rods back in 2003. I hope I can win!
Nice car. Rare options too. I have an 07 5.4 GT500 (a few vids of it r on my channel they made 56 in my color options for 07). Yours sounds like it has corsa mufflers like mine. The weak point (compared to cobras) is the rods. For the 5.8 - ppl say its more fragile cause its a bored out 5.4 and almost maxed out from the factory power wise. But yeah I’m pretty sure the connection rods are the weak link cause Ford had the expensive manly (or whatever they’re called) brand forged rods in the cobras but went cheap in the GT500s… bean counter issues
I have the 2020 GT500 and an '88 GT with a 408W (6.6L) and a 3550 I think (been a while) with a Spec stage 2 clutch and solid engine mounts... you wanna talk about difference LOL! I like the heavy clutch and the very small consistent travel between "in" and "out". This is a dam nice car though!
Want to buy my 2014 gt500 only thing is done to it is upgraded 4.9 kenny bell supercharger kit and a does a extreme cat back no mid pipes can make over 1000 whp. Sterling gray metallic with grabber blue decals but was ordered with no hood stripes
To get a better clutch engagement is a very easy upgrade. Get the clutch peddle return spring kit and it becomes better! Yes, that is stock clutch, they're heavy!
@ItalianStallion410 They do take getting used to a bit. But for a 10min, easy upgrade look at Steeda's return spring kit. It made a difference in mine like night and day! About the getting her to plant the power? It's very doable. I dead hook in 2nd from 40mph on up.
I been looking at other mustang drivers on road and there’s not another one has a glass roof like my 2009 mustang GT premium .so I am wondering if rare.
There is an old Ford, mercury, Lincoln dealership that is now out of business. Down here in Uniontown Pennsylvania. The dealer got in two brand new gt 500. And they have been setting in the showroom for years. One is Red with white stripes. And one white one with blue stripes. I'm not sure of the exact years. But look to be 2007 or 08. And you know what they say. Money talks and Bull shit walks. I don't know if anyone has ever tried to buy or not.
