In this video, I drive east to west along Rimrock Drive atop the Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction, CO in my 1991 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo! The nearly 12 mile trip begins at the Ute Canyon Trail turnoff to the Colorado National Monument Visitor Center. Using a GoPro Hero 10 black for the front and a Hero 8 black for the rear, I was able to capture the stunning views from both ends of the car in full 4KUHD.
The drive was mildly spirited but nothing too crazy. This was my first time taking the drive in this car and I wanted to see how the Z handled the twists and turns of the Monument's winding roads. It did remarkably well, especially considering its age! Since this is a highly visited area with a lot of people around at all times, I kept my speeds low but was still able to whip around the hairpin turns with so much ease that it felt like the Z was begging me for more! It's a truly amazing vehicle to drive, especially with the t-tops off and the beauty of this place surrounding you from all sides! If you are ever in Grand Junction, Colorado, be sure you take the time to visit. You'll be very glad you did!
