I grew up in Penticton, and all these back roads are places me and my dad would drive. Your vids are a trip down memory lane for me. Thanks so much for posting them!
Great video. Unfortunately the smoke does not allow for the amazing panorama or the true steepness of that drive. I didn’t know where I was going the other day when I did the drive and kept seeing a river and a strip of road waaaay beneath me. The slide area was quite something. Thanks for the drive!😊
The next time I do this drive on a nice sunny day, without smoke ➜ Check out the latest video: Scenic Drive through the Swiss Alps 🇨🇭 Driving from Les Diablerets to Leysin in Switzerland ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pCS69CcfSAk.html
The road is very beautiful, spectacular and dangerous! The rockslides on the slopes in the fog look fantastic, but I imagined one of those boulders falling off and flying straight into the car !! Oh, scary!) Thanks for the interesting video. BC is one of the most delightful places on our planet.
I'm purchasing a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and look forward to taking it on these backroads. I have map book called Backroads of BC and plan to take as many backroads as possible next summer.
1:30:57 I've camped overnight at that spot, and the viewpoint is absolutely amazing with a full moon! There's also a weather station hidden behind the rocks that you can explore.
How lovely the place is. Hope I can visit there sometimes. It really makes me happy to see places like this. Such a great experience. Thank you so much for the free tour :)
Greetings from South Africa and thank you for a wonderful video. Going through the forests reminds us of our local roads here in the Eastern Cape province of 'South Africa. It's wonderful to see what a good condition the gravel roads are. Are you driving an electric car? Best wishes from Andre and Lola
From the footage 1:16 onwards is those types of roads that brings the best of nature right to your vehicle door; rather than viewing the panoramic view from the multilane highways, Those switchbacks near the end of the trip was very interesting. My folks used to drive the backroads just to see what was there. Myself, I prefer the backroads to pavement any day of the week. Very enjoyable ... thank you.
Interesting place. That hotel looked kind of eerie, like out of a "Silent Hill" game, or something, hehe. That weirdly wide and luxurious unpaved gravel road is curious. Never saw something like that. You'd think that if that road is there to connect that nickel mine, heavy trucks and workers driving up and down there would tear it up pretty quickly.
This was a great and unique ride. I would like to make films like this here in the Netherlands. I do make movies like that with my motorcycle (Honda Goldwing GL 1500 SE 1991) but what you make will never be so beautiful. Will not work because it is too flat and boring here. You have a great country with great nature and layout. You are 250 times bigger than us. WTF? Here in the Netherlands you cannot drive for half an hour without meeting someone or a car. You come here in the Netherlands every 20 sec. someone against. I hope to ride a motorcycle with my wife in Canada and America next year. F *** K Covid-19 if it doesn't work out. Thank you for this wonderful movie. Sorry if my English is not quite right. Eric
I hope you will be able to come to Canada next year and do a motorcycle tour. I'm planning to visit Europe next May and June, and yes, F * K Covid-19 👍
@@SigisTravelVideos If you come to Europe then you can also visit the Netherlands. In 2 days I can show you all of the Netherlands on a motorcycle. Hahahaha.
