You picked a truly spectacular day to drive through town. I haven’t seen so few cars on the road here in over 10 years. Those condos downtown look a lot nicer on camera, good job. PS. Your driving is just fine.
I have grew up in Naples. I used to live at one of the two condo's that still stand adjacent to Wiggins pass. I am 50 now. I did love Naples at one time. I remember my grandparents(raised me) driving down Immokalee road and seeing a movie play at the drive-in movie theatre. Which now is Wells Fargo and a bunch of medical practices. It was such a nice quiet area. 41 was only two lanes. But now it is saturated. I miss how it was just so peaceful. I still live here and struggle as a result of the saturation. My first apartment cost me 500.00 a month and now the same apartment complex cost 2200.00 for the same unit, 1 bedroom. The only difference is upgrade internally. I wish I could move, but it is hard to go start a new life elsewhere. I will say this, if you have the money and like the area go for it. It is beautiful, just not a beautiful as it was.
Same here born raised here.my ex plays music standing on fifth Ave nightly . people love music go there alot.louie Salvatore great music man plays Cosmo's too👍😆
Moved there when I was a kid in 1976, moved to Tennessee last year. Can't say there is much I miss. I see the Naples Beach Club has been reduced to rubble. What a shame.
I'm falling in love with Naples right now, even though I have never been there but it's sure going to be my next destination in the near future. P s. It looks like Beverly Hills, CA to me😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Holy housing bubbles Batman! Lots of retail shops to be manned by hourly workers, who come from where to live in a place where a mobile home can cost you $200,000?
@@userseveneleven Affordable housing going up in the burbs? Right. Maybe some kids living with their parents can commute in, but not the working poor. They have to get an apartment, and sink into poverty deeper and deeper with every rent payment.
Ive lived here 31 yrs! What these creeps from all over the world have done to this place is terrible! The workers, which i am one,can barely afford to live here because of what the u s politicians ,their handlers and the greedy real estate fux have done to the prices here! Its very boring also because its set up for the older, rich folk! I hope i can head out soon!
