Driving to and through moody AFB

I take a drive to Moody AFB, GA and going through most of the whole base, ending at the Gym.

Nice to see the Bemiss 500 again Was stationed there from 87 to 91,and again to 92 to 94 When I got there they still had F-4E's. Transition to F-16,s. Was with the 69th and 68th TFS/AMU Long gone

Moody was my 1st base. Colonel Buster Cleveland Glosson was the Wing King. I was there from 85- 87. The place has changed alot but I will never forget that place or some of the finest folks you will ever meet on this planet

I tried to remember buildings. It was hard. I worked at the wing command post 92 - 95. I lived off Bemiss about 5 miles from base. I got orders to Keesler as an instructor. I graduated from VSU and GMC. I retired in 2003.

Cool to see Moody again! Was there for a year and a half before moving to Korea. The heat and humidity reminded me of my home back in Texas♥️

Are you still there? If so, would you do a drive like this through all the housing areas? Cant decide if it is more convenient to just live on base or should we just buy in Bemiss. Its a toss up!
