Driving has always been meditation for me. I used to drive 11 hours in one day from visiting my parents and then back to university and it didn't really make me tired, always enjoyed it.

Does anyone love night time and the gloomy, windy rainy days but deep down you really wish you could enjoy sunlight, let the sun carass your skin , go on a sunny beach , stepping on hot sand and then letting it cool with sea water.

I used to take late night drives to clear my head. I still very much would but I had my car repoed two months ago due to being in the hospital for a month in a coma. I couldn't catch up with payments when I did get out and I'm still fighting for disability because I can't feel my right leg or my thighs. I miss the driving, the freedom, the knowing I can go anywhere at any time. Now I watch videos like this and contemplate leaving this earth because I'm in so much debt with hospital bills and I can't work. As stupid as it sounds, thanks for making videos like this. It gives me my freedom back.

Driving is one of the only times I get to be truly alone. And it brings me an incredible sense of calm, in just sitting down and turning the engine of my beloved car-a 2012 Toyota Camry that I absolutely love. I don’t know why driving makes me feel that way. It just does. And it’s not something I ever want to give up.

When/if I get a car one day, night drives would defo be a consistent activity on my schedule.

I don’t know how to drive, and the reason I’m afraid to learn is cause I have a disorder that disconnects me from myself and my surroundings 24/7 for the past 3 years. But it seems so peaceful. I’m looking for ways to escape, and maybe this is a good one :)

my mom once took me for a drive at around 2 - 4 am in the winter when all you could see is street lights and snow and it wad also raining. my mom told me i could put any song i wanted and i chose this on full volume and made it sound Even better with the hall effect on my samsung😢. i just wish we could go again.
