4 hr vid? Wow ......rainy day viewing. I think a strength of your videos compared to other RV channel vids is your voice-over and traveling music.....you're a good tour guide.
As I sit here watching and wishing I could go and travel like you, I realize that it’s not financially possible for me. Then it hits me, I’m able to do so through your lens. Thank you for all the planning, effort and time you put into your productions. I can’t imagine all the footage you spend time filming and never use... Safe travels!
Wow, I did the whole trip with you...West and then back East. I loved every minute of it! Thank you so much Robert. I learn so much from you and it inspires me to stop the video and read more on my own. I can’t wait until I can take off and explore on my own. Thank you so very much! God bless!
Robert, your videos are always 5 star quality. I Thank you for sharing. I would not otherwise have the opportunity to view such gorgeous scenery without your videos. So far, I have watched Driving to the West., Driving up the East coast. Driving to the East and Wild West. I plan to .watch many more of your professional grade videos. They are awesome. Very educational and well thought out.
Robert I started watching your Traveling East to West video and over the next week ended up watching the entire West to East video as well, what's that about 7 or 8 hours! Thanks so much for your excellent videos. They brought back memories and I learned some things. Keep up the great work Robert! :)
Like for so many others - these videos, the music and your character has changed my perspective on life so much I never thought a youtube video could ever have such an impact. I urge everyone to buy the latest album. I did not fully appreciate the music until I bought it and began listening to it. Now I listen to it every day. I jump between watching videos (when I have time) and listening to his music. I bought 2 albums but I think the latest one has all the music, I could be wrong. Crazy thing I only bought the albums to support the channel. Now it is all I listen to.
Hi, I have seen your journey from east to west and back. Beautiful, you are a "positive" person and these two videos have me conquered a lot. I have visited (with you) unknown places and I am very passionate about it. You are very good at filming and describing the journey. Besides, I really appreciate your talking. Thank you Ciao
Hello, i live now in Normany. I stayed somes years i usa mostly Miami. Now 65 you inspire me...i wish i could do the same trip....go west and back....Thank you so much ..you make me dream..dont change anytnig..Patrick Mallet
Robert, thank you for this. This was my first adventure with you. I’m a retired biker and many of the locations you explored are ones I enjoyed on two wheels. Your vids have reignited my wanderlust. I’m looking forward to exploring more riding(vicariously) in your r.v. Peace, C.F.
Love your accent and road music. I travel the country in a travel trailer, but am tired from driving and setting up camp, so have seen more of this great country from your videos. Thanks
I passed by the Mississippi Space Center on January going to New Orleans, incidentally, the weather was also very foggy during those two days, I hanged out at the casinos in Biloxi.
Robert: Very, very awesome presentation of the very long drive from the east coast to the west coast, and the beauty of this is the audio, and filming is excellient, and with so much history that is very informing, A grand youtube agenda that even with your voice it gives a cool vibe to the travel. You are such a Miami Guy !!!!! Because when you live in Florida it's all green , however you go out west there is a difference . It's the same when people come from the West to go to the east !!! I live in Tampa I got it !!!!!! Miami is beautiful I know so it's pretty cool !!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU Robert , keep it up Brother !!!!
OK,here is the story. I am the one who live half and half in Orange County, CA and Palm Beach County, FL. I am traveling on this road for years and know or visited everything possible on. Even more,I know not just every gas station or motel but every rest area.Bad thing first,I decided to see couple minutes of this video since I am familiar with everything and finished watching all 4:02. Worst come in second place. I watched his entire back drive video for 3:35. Believe me Robert is the best. I know since I lived in South West ( AZ/NV) for 16 yr. After that I saw all his travel videos and my cudos to him and his work. I traveled more than him (but he is younger) and I visited more places but for all you who like to travel, you don't have to wait until retirement for that, you just have to decide to hit the road.Thank you Robert.
What a joy to be on your journey with you crossing America because this is how I felt watching this video. You took me to places [ have always wanted to visit. Even though I live in Dallas for many many years I never knew the state was so beautiful with mountains and nature. Your film production would be great to watch for ppl who can't travel for whatever reason as well. I personally want to thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure and I'm sure to watch it over again and share!
your videos help me to relax, i click on play botton i open a couple of beers and i start watching the videos, i'm from mexico and i've always wanted to visit the USA, and thanks to your videos now i can wander around the country.
I love you Robert. Your expertly described travels bring back so many happy memories for when we traveled as a family in a 34 foot Winnebago. Love your accompanying music as well. Thank you so much. I’m happy you recently received the special RU-vid award. I can’t wait to view all your videos.
Who is "we"? I didn't see anyone else with you. I wanted to let you know that I am always trying to get my husband to watch RVing videos but he only watches a few minutes and is bored. He started watching your video and for the next several days, every time he had a free moment, he was watching it! Thanks for the quality videos.
Robert,Thanks for the drive to the west. Now you are going back east. later today I will watch as you travel the east cost. I absolutely love your videos. the bass guitar in your videos is wonderful.
Traveling Robert, I just watched both of your seven hour trips across country. It was good weekend watching while caring for my sick wife. Really enjoyed it. Have you ever thought about doing a cooking video? The different dishes you cooked in the mini looked great!! Thanks for the videos. Hope to follow your paths across country, next time you come thru Dalton Ga stop in and say hello!!
I am leaving California and moving to Florida, leaving in a couple of weeks. I am going to follow a lot of your suggestions. Thank you so much for making this movie, its inspirational.
Have you thought? Travelling around the world to West, you reach a point called East when you started the trip. 😀 Or, you start travelling to West but you return from East … 😀 Everything it’s so relative and in fact all in one but, only different degrees of perception and understanding … 🌟
I love this video, all your videos,! Really Robert your editing, music, you stop and see the things I would want to see ,and astronomy yes! Best wishes to you and minitini happy travels Thank you
I discovered you through your movie on Amazon. I like how natural and comfortable you are in front of the camera and appreciate your expert camera work. Like quite a few other viewers comment s, watching your travels is very relaxing. I used to have an old Volkswagen camper van and loved traveling around in it. Your videos are helping me decide what to get for my next camper, and how to set it up. Thank you for sharing your travels and knowledge with us.
@Traveling Robert I am really enjoying the video....you captured so many experiences and scenery..it is so awesome to see the country while on the road! Great work!
Thank you so much for going to White Sands in this video. I use to live in El Paso in the 70's when my Father was stationed at Fort Bliss. I went and road a donkey there and I'll never forget it...Wow the memories.
Robert, you are so talented and interesting. I watched both your Driving to the West and Driving to the East. I have travel I 10 in different segments, lately Ft worth Tex to LA, but never got off the beaten path to do the great exploration you did. Thanks for all your efforts in planning, driving, editing and presentation.
ah was Rollin when you got stuck, seriously funny so glad you included that. Makes us all wanna go try that road. When I grew up ah remember my parents doin the same kinda thing... so cool to recall it now....
I've traveled across country quite a few times. Nice to see what I've missed. Don't explore much so I miss most of what your videos show. Fantastic, thanks.
Wonderful video Robert!! I love when you put multiple videos into a single, long video. Great footage in this one. Some of my favorites spots @2:06:41 you're driving through yet another rainstorm in the desert. You seem to drive through more than your share of desert rainstorms. @2:42:33 you talk about growing up during the Cold War but on the other side. Great reminder that there are different perspectives. @3:40:00 you talk about it being 40 degrees, humidity, and wind. Those of us who live in northern climes know this experience all too well--it's why so many of us invade Florida in the winter. Safe travels friend!
I really enjoyed watching your videos, been in some places you featured and learned some places that my husband and I may want to go in the near future. Keep making more traveling videos.
As someone who has made this trip a few times- I enjoyed the "plans change" spontaneity when boondocking with my gas Class A. Same route, albeit up to Sacramento CA from FL, but instead of the I-10 back, I took I-80 to fill in more of my "map"! Love your production abilities and it is all very entertaining!
Robert, you are so funny climbing that rock. We love your show. I am originally from So Florida too but now live in Ga. I'll go hiking with you, whenever you're in the state.
watching your video today 5/1/2020 during the pandemic.. you had mentioned gas price was a dollar more in California .. today in Minnesota its $1.77. and taking your lemons was B.S. great video! I'm your newest fan!
Robert, you need to be able to fix your tire by yourself! It is easy! Buy a kit with plugs and the tools to file the puncture before inserting that plug! It is so easy! It is a 10 minutes job!
Yup, used them countless times for 20+ years now and never had an issue. Even a worn tire years after still had that little nub in there scrapping along the road and never comes off. You don't even have to take the tire off, but you put some elbow grease into it there.
