So..How about your safety , then?? There are so many comments around the internet about Winnipeg being crime and drug affected..is this true?? I really have hard time understanding..half of the people sing praise to Winnipeg as an "outstanding " place and saying how friendly it is and half warn to stay the hell away from it ....who is right?
Crime has increased without doubt. As for your personal safety, it's more about area in the city. If you're far from the downtown area, it is usually fine, but obviously things are not as safe as they used to be - statistically speaking. Still, great city, and we're talking percentages here.
Thank you SO much for this. Today it's pouring rain here in Vancouver BC and I'm feeling really home sick. Watching you're videos makes my home sickness less painful. Can you make a video driving up Sherbrook street from Osborn Village? I use to swim at Sherbroook pool all day long on Sat. I haven't been home in 44 years.
With all respect , but I would like to ask , how safe are "the nice areas " that you show here? there are way too many rumors about Winnipeg, it is not clear if it is a safe city to move to.. Another question.. The point of your backstreets ride?? where are any coffee shops, any signs of cafes or restataurants, any rec centres..to show ppl on youtube 25 minutes of backyards of old apartment lowrises and bins..?? what for??
