Thank you for letting him know his landing gear was down. Too many people would have just taken a video and posted it to RU-vid and just kept on driving.

At least he let him know while roasting him in an informative video. Lol

I used to creep past them just to see what they looked like and yep they all got something in common. I stopped a small Luton van once, it had a tail lift and although it was closed up it had lowered itself to almost touching the road and covering its rear lights. I pointed out that the driver should never drive with the power light on in the cab which as well as turning the lift off also prevents the lift coming down all by itself.

Another reason to check and double check

As some character says in each Star Wars movie; "I have a bad feeling about this"

I've done it. The trailer I was hooking up to was too close to get between them to raise the landing gear and was barely off of the ground when I hooked up. I pulled forward enough to inspect the trailer but neglected to raise it. Entirely my own fault. I didn't make it onto the road, but I could have if I didn't happen to notice in my mirrors as I turned. My pti routine changed and I missed it.

Seen another of trailers damaged in my 35 years out there simply because the driver did not crank the landing gear ALLthe way up
