R2-D2 is my favorite robot of all time. I don’t think there will ever be another memorable non-human character like him in movies! Anyway, it looks super cool……
I was told if I bought the pre-built R2D2 with the tray, that I could take it apart, and then "put it back together" with my son, but I cant figure out how to dismantle this head. I don't want to pull too hard and break it, but it feels like Its glued/screwed on. I did also buy all the other accessories (leg rockets, side guns, and all the pop-out utility tools).
I am not going to tell you to pull the head off. I built mine down in Disney World and this metal dome does fit the ones you build down there. I can tell you they do snap on and off and take some force.
@@arcadetalk Luckily, I did find another review of my exact unit, and they showed how to pull it off. Your correct, its just very tight. I was able to remove it. My son is now droid part hunting around my house, before we are going to build his drone...
I figured that was the problem but I hate to tell someone pull really hard and then something breaks. It is fun to see what kids come up with when they are building these.
