It would be handy if drones had a super slo motion mode which automatically activated when any crash happens so we can fully appreciate that triple axle death spiral when it hits the birch tree.
You just need FPV if you want the full crash experience. I'll never forget riding along with ken as he full throttled into a concrete pole...it was years ago but the ride to the pole, the crash, the smack, the sound of the props...with me forever 🙌
Beginner drone pilot here with a cheaply toy, glad to know even the more expensive ones are not immune to trees! The commentary when dunking underwater is priceless😂
The amount of work you put into these compilations is amazing and greatly appreciated. Thank you. If you want that hairy Moss crash video that you saw on my channel, without text titles, I'll be happy to make it available.
Excellent video, as always. I still have my very first quadcopter, that I learned on, from 10 years ago, with its original props, and it still flies. Ahh, the beauty of lightweight, fully manual quads :) .
As far as I can see, apart from one instance of prop failure the rest of these were wholly avoidable accidents and down to operator error. Sometimes relying too much on auto modes, sometimes poor flight control but often simply down to ambitions exceeding talent! There are a few people who should take serious look at themselves - flying close to power cables, over urban areas with high density of people, very close proximity to buildings. Crash in to a tree: I don't care, it's your loss. Crash into people: I care because of the reputational damage to our hobby (aside from the physical risk). Thanks for putting the compilation together though!
Thank You Ken for this great Show ...but Your Comments are the best of all!👏🤣 Greetings and dear Wishes for the Christmas Season, from Germany 🎄 Gerd 🎅
Dammit Ken , 4:44 I should know by now to wait until the video has finished before taking a mouthful of coffee. Now , where's my keyboard cleaning kit ..... ? 😁 9:36 is that how drones laugh after hitting you in the face ? 😁
Ha ha Ken I made it on to Drone Crash Compilation again. I've got an Avata as well now so I'm crashing all the time, so much have enough footage for my own episode.
I broke my drone about 2 years ago, and realized that I had some PSD issues. These videos helped me lighten up and start laughing. I now don't take myself so seriously. My first drone was $2000. I bought another one, for $500, because I know that the accident will come. I won't feel so bad after watching these videos. My original fault was landing in high grass. This time, I bought a landing pad.

Thank you this made me feel alot better. Yesterday was my birthday, and I got a drone I was very exited, and today I finally tried it for the first time, the drone was hitting the walls, so I made the drone go higher, and then I couldn't control it, and it was going to the wrong direction, and it was to high and I didn't know which direction it was going, and then I couldn't find the drone, I looked all over the neighborhood, and I couldn't find it, I looked all over the street and in diffrebt places and still couldn't find the drone, and the drone was disconnected to my phone, and then the battery ran out, and I became really sad and I cried a few times, I just gotten the drone, but it felt like I had used the drone for a very long time.
Not to bash on anyone, but that second video. I believe with the balloon? What were they trying to accomplish? A balloon? especially with a long azz string? What they think was going to happen? Crazy, stupid, and foolish. Thanks for sharing Ken. 👍👍👍
