Hello, I think it depends on the size of your drone! Mine is only 249g, I didn’t apply for license but we didn’t fly at historical area in Cambodia such as Angkor Wat!

I think there won't be any tourist, there have been exposé that Cambodia and especially Sihanoukville is the center of human trafficking and scam factory. There are estimated hundred of thousands of scammers working in these scam factories, some are forced while some are voluntarily. Google 'Sihanoukville cambodia scam factory human trafficking', reports from BBC, Vice, New York Times, Al Jazeera. Those that fallen into the jobs scam that being trafficked to Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, eventually either forced to work for these scam factories or pay a ransom to get back the freedom, some died in the process. These days, they have up the game and instead of lure people to Cambodia/Myanmar/Laos for lucrative jobs, they straight away kidnap.
