Hearing those words come out of his face broke me a little bit. He’s says so many things, there’s been so much outrage and scandal, I thought there was no way I could be shocked. His smugness, his ignorance, and his hubris all on clear display.

Those of you wondering, the pink stuff is fire retardant dropped from aircraft, usually bombers. The color lets spotters give info about a good drop or not. when they do multiple pass's.

No it’s not, it’s fire retardant which is dropped from aircraft to stop wildfires from spreading. The chemicals aren’t toxic to humans.

I'm wondering why the trees dont look that bad?...I mean it was a forest fire right?
@xStarstargirlx
@xStarstargirlx 4 года назад
Not too sure since I don't live in the west where the wildfires are. But I am guessing the wind spreads the fire sparks or fire embers (if you see people's personal videos of them trying to escape the wildfire by car, you can see the embers flying around), so it is possible the fire embers ended up on the buildings moreso than the trees. This is just my guess. Either way, this is a devastation to the community that lost their homes.

The wood is wet, its alive, sap running through it. Americans love building houses from Boards. Boards are dry and very porous. They would quickly burn up like paper does . These trees too must be crisp from the outside.

What kind of " forest fire " burns the houses to rubble but leaves the trees standing ?
@andydietrich3689
@andydietrich3689 4 года назад
Huh? Fires and trees have a symbiotic relationship - trees contain large amounts of moisture and have deep root systems, the burnt husk that remains after a fire would serve a purpose in a natural environment. Homes are made out of dried processed wood, plaster, aluminum and plastic and fiber and a thousand other manmade highly flammable objects.
@chrisschicker8776

If you look closer at this footage, there are a number of trees and branches down.

@sarahrose4126
@sarahrose4126 4 года назад
@@andydietrich3689 Ouy vey. Common sense . The temperature at which it takes to burn houses to rubble would reduce those trees to ashes. Do some research. These fires aren't natural.
@andydietrich3689
@andydietrich3689 4 года назад
Sarah Rose Jesus Christ you’re embarrassingly unintelligent - you do realize fires are a natural occurrence to clear brush and most trees not only survive but flourish from fires? The core stump of a tree is entirely water and organic material - they don’t burn for a reason, I mean Jesus Christ wtf!! “The temps it would take to burn a house” - you mean really low? I could light a match and burn my house down right this second, it doesn’t take an extreme amount of heat as if it’s steel and metal? I really don’t know how you can walk through your day simply not caring how ignorant you are. I guess selfish and dumb always go hand in hand as we’ve learned over the last 4 years.
