I’m running for at large position 1 for city council here in Alvin. My family grew up here in Alvin and after my grandfather passed I moved my family back to the hometown. My MARCS plan for Alvin focuses on 3 areas... Resilience- support our police fire fighters and first responders, support community involvement and preparedness, network with surrounding cities charter amendments Competitive- support and recruit small business, support competitive wages for officers and city workers, Sustainability- promote best practices, high standards and environmental friendly when building communities roads and rebuilding water system Alvin constituents deserve the same dedication and loyalty the Army received from me when I served, I am prepared to fight for this city, support small business, support citizen involvement and preparedness and promote sustainable eco friendly practices I hope you continue to do so by voting Lawrence McGaffie for Alvin City Council.
