Without the EU nobody would buy your food, okay maybe the vine, but everything else is cheaper from f.e. Brazil. QuantumFluxable They could already be normalized. Buzzy sounds often are perceived to sound louder than non-buzzy sounds at the same actual volume. Same thing for continuous sounds vs ones that aren’t (such as speech).

A balloon with a radio repeater and GPS beacon would be awesome...you'd be able to talk for miles and miles even on UHF or VHF. I just had a 55-mile contact using a handheld to patch into a mountaintop repeater 13 miles from me; relative altitude is everything with radio.

Do radio waves travel well in water?

@@LostieTrekieTechie the radio on my RC truck works up to 500ft in air (and it's a cheap radio too), so I think they work fine underwater. I'm not certain, but I don't think water affects the radio waves much.
