So my observation on the recoil drone test is that if you don't get hit, you don't reflect any damage back. So if you aren't reflecting damage, they're going to necessarily have a lower score because of the defensive nature of part of their damage component, while the offensive drones aren't dependent on taking hits to do max damage.
The drones were just a quick money grab for the devs imo. It's a shame because they have the potential of being so much more. Pilots should still be the main priority to spend your diamonds i think. Hopefully they'll adapt the drones and make them better in future updates. I won't hold my breathe though. At least we all got good costumes for Halloween now 🤣😂🤣
@craigdjones1978 100%. The only cool feature, like I said, is the health and shield benefits to Star Scramble and Planet Wars. There is absolutely nothing else really beneficial, and this really is a slap to the players face. We want to see bug damage. We want to see things blow up bigger, and the drones totally took all of that away from the game. I don't care how bug I look in the game, If I cannot throw bugger punches or, in this case, bigger attacks, it's useless. They could totally change all of this, and unfortunately, they totally blew it again.
The Grus you have reduces incoming physical damage by a good margin, great for most pvp with all the Conq mains. It's all in having the good skills and having the right skills for the occasion. I tried using several higher tier N drones and they were worth a lot of score, but their primary skills sucked and swapping in like the Sagittarius with it's double stacking dots was better overall damage output despite being much lower quality/power level. My Titan damage was higher with it and of course also being AoE I was able to clear a lot more Tower levels that I can't when it's not equipped. Recoil is of course pvp only, and having multiple copies of the recovery sub-skill can be absolutely infuriating to fight against in pvp as they heal over and over.
Woops mispoke a little on the Grus. It does provide sone defense, but is primarily a recoil drone. There are so drones that literally provide a decent amount of damage absorption though like the Unicorn and Guard drones.
your electrical drones may have been weaker since its a physical boss, who knows. Recoil only works against other drones from how I understand, because your recoiling the damage from enemy drone back to them. So if you have no drones attacking you there'd be no increase. If they added drones to PVE targets recoil could become a thing, on a flip side if they added drones to all pve targets on lvls it would get so cluttered haha. I honestly have no clue though just based off what i've seen in game. Say hi to the Falcons from Silvia and I. Maybe we will meet in battle some day :P Either way keep up the content!
@Vivimaster lots to dig into.your comment. That means someone needs to seriously fiquer out if all legion bosses are physical or energy. Not that these weak numbers would do anything. 2. Recoil drone can be armed with weapons. It seems like the higher your weapons to your recoils even, the more damage it recoils back to you, and you may be autotually helping the other player kill yourself faster, if that's the case. Technically, if you are getting hit by the titan or the legiin boss, the recoil should fire back at the bosses. So we can absolutely see this is not true or working as a real recoil. Truly, the only benefit to the drones as of now is the recoil for shield and health benefits. Like I said in the video.
For courier drones, does the physical defence break stack? What about unicorn drones, does the 20% physical defence stack? That's alot if it's stackable.
@@Atropineable From a friend named Tek with Dirty Old B legion on this topic: First off, none of them that I'm aware of give defense break for the character. Before they improved the definitions and made things more specific, there were two drones that were supposed to increase defense break but after the definitions were released, it was for the Drone specifically and not for the player or ship.
I agree. Add up for PvP snd that's it. A bit protection on levels and that's it. Thanks ... oh.. on the other side... much more surprises on dog fights, for one side or the other😅
Basically what you should do with how im underding these. Is if your a no or low spender, use N drones for pve. And use SR for pvp. Your better off doing the N because there is no way you will get high evolved sr unles you plan on droping thousands. 10 N will give you way more then 1 SR for dmg drones.
The past 10 or fights in planet wars has shown me that the drones are pretty much useless, unless you have that combo that gives you health back. I have been able to beat players that have 110,000 to 120,000 more power than me pretty easily. Almost beat a player that has 300,000 power more than me. Thanks for your gem tips!
@monocore5469 that depends on what you mean. The gems are separate from the drones. Burning drones for regular play like the titan legion boss, missions and endless. Recoil drones for planet wars and star scramble. Your gems are important because they give you specially upgraded power as the gem gets more stars.

I keep updating my drone even it seems useless right now, and only concentrate to 3 drones with physical attribute. I hope my investment is paid off later and expecting developer to change something in next update so those drones should be usefull in the game.
@CJ-xe7nv I think we as a whole, the community are the beta testers. I would love to be considered a real beta tester before they launched these new updates to keep everyone from being so disappointed. I just cannot wrap my head around where anyone of the developers thiught, let's make the drones useless against the legion boss and Titan. It's just absolutely insane to me. Talk about one of the biggest let down in gamming history. I think wing fighter has pasted the worst game even made by Atari. The game E.T. I have said this a few times over the year, especially. I cannot wrap my head around this. This game has the full potential to be the game of games, and it's the game of let downs
@edwina667 I'm still having a hard time with it also. It's very tough like I was staying seeing where everything is going as far as power, what it boosts exactly, or if it's all show and no bite. It really seems like the recoil is the only real advantage to the drones.
Hi great video.. I got 3 mix drones there not part of a set so not active but still work would this be a disadvantage in pvp as the active skills still work and can upgrade whats the benefits of being a set active button?
@Andyv182 this recoil drone is the whole key. If you are using powerful weapons and drones not in recoil, the other player is firing your weapons back at you with their recoils. The recoil drones to me are making every other drone obsolete. It's kinda a bottle neck.
I'm regretting going for the SR drones now. Do you all realise that a 3 star SR = 30k power =3k Rehn 15 star N=120k power=1.5k Rehn You get 4 times the power for half the price
@craigdjones1978 but, add youemr 12 x 300,000= 3,600,000. Not even comparable. Sr drones all the way. Ultimately, rhat where you will be anyways as you get bigger.
@chuckdee82 Technically, the drones suck period on Legion Boss and Titan. The only real benefit to them are really in planet wars and star scramble so far.
@chuckdee82 🤪😀🤪😀🤪 There has been a new update, and they are actually buffing stuff up finally. I just hit 1.5 on the titan with the conqourer and the buffed down the phantom. They are constantly changing things. It's tough to keep uo with.

Quick question. When i got to level 63, trial of thorns 4 opened up with more diamonds to buy. Do any more open up when you get further on level. I know your past level 80 so if anyone would know, it would be you
At this point I see no need to advance any past the 5 yellow star point, the rest is just a facade and a massive $$$ grab. I'd love to know where those skill as are supposed to be applied.
Yes it does keep the boost in hp and maingun and winggun and missle. If you do a Lh or titan battle with out the drones then do it with them the score will go up. Drones are all about the stat incress and the passive skills you put on them. And the defense they can bring.They are not for damage.to me the burning and electric are only good for stat boost nothing eles. The best drones are the health and defense drones.
@phillboehm these are littetally made for pvp or players vs player. Nobody will convince me yet that you get a higher score with drones against legion boss and Titan when I have several videos proving they do not.
I have watched them. I dont think you have done it a full attack withoud drones, them add them tou get your stat boosts get your passives the way you want them then attack again. If i have missed this video please link it to me.
You are only useing drones. What i am saying is use equipment how you would normally attack the lh with no drones. Then add the drones keep your equipment on and attack again.the stat boost that your equipment will get will give the incress. The drones are suport for your base stats and what its passives do. You will never see any kind of big damage from the drones themselfs. I agree that the drones are not what ppl were hoping for. But they do give base stat boost and the helath drones help a bit in pvp.
@phillboehm all these videos are about at this time is stripping them down to see why players are complaining why they don't see a bigger score to legiin boss and titan. If you play this with dodge, critical and more, you will never get a correct test. This game is set upon chance, and you can do this 100 times that way, and get 100 different results. thays not a good way of doing that. I say in my videos all of the time, this is a general video for others to take and learn, do better, try your own tests and send them to me.
Well, they do look like toys after all. I cannot stand Pilots.... I wish they had an option to unequip them because they take "YOU" out of the story.... I could lose every match and would not care. I despise set characters in a game.... Still, this is great to know. Dumping all that money passed your first 3 is just not worth it. Just enjoy the game casually. The company I named themselves Minigame for a reason. This is indeed a minigame. Fun, but a minigame.🤟😹 Personally, I do not like how they just sit behind you like lumps. It would be better if they moved arround and attacked.
