This is aerial drone video of the flooding in Manitoba, specifically south Manitoba in Morris and Ste.Agathe.
I was lucky to hear from and speak with people directly involved and gained a better understanding what it's like to be in a major flooded area and how protecting a city works.
PLEASE - LIKE and subscribe! I'm still trying to build the channel and it really helps! Thanks!
And also thanks to the commenters. It's great to get feedback so I know when people appreciate the videos or things that could be changed.
Sorry, I can't change my face tho...

Thanks Dan for the amazing Video of Morris. I have been trying to describe what it was like living in Morris to non Manitoba residents for years but this video really puts everything into perspective of what it’s like living in the Red River Valley. I am truly grateful for this high quality video to show and share. Thanks

Wow Roger thanks so much! That's high praise! I appreciate it. And that's exactly why I got out there, because not even I knew what it looked like until I got up there, but when I did I was amazed! I hope you'll pass on the video to others so they can better visualize it too.

We lived in Alberta for a while , originally from the UK and thought Alberta was flat ! We have driven across Manitoba but that was in the fall so presumably not the flood season .

Great video Dan and awesome storytelling. Another area that would be interesting to see is the divide between the Morris River and the La Salle River from Sanford to Brunkild.

@4:20 The closure of 75 hwy is a major problem for big trucks. It is more than an inconvenience as you seem to suggest.

I had to go to Morris for a dentist appt. The big tractor-trailer are using the 23rd and huge potholes ruined that rd . it's only 65% weight but trucks aren't listening.

When you build in the flood plain…. Expect to get wet sooner rather than later!

Yup, that's how it works, sometimes random, sometimes not, either way the whole flooding situation sux for anyone involved sadly.
