Now that's what I call Oceanfront property. Pretty sure back in the 80's all those houses had about 200' and then the dunes and beach. Incredible how erosion and sea level is speeding up. I wonder where it will be in 20 years?

Was just out in Rodanthe this past Memorial Day weekend and they have done a great job cleaning it up.

Your tiny front loader is NO MATCH for the power of sea driven in by hurricanes. Why would u build a house on a sand bar, it could be gone tomorrow.

Was just there last week, they are building a large bridge way out into the sound around this spot. i guess this is why? Too much to keep that beach road going, and they might give up this is going to be another new inlet..
