We see Pacific National EMD locomotives 8256 & 8140 working hard up the grade into Galong, NSW. The first scene is taken from the ground on the platform, while the second is taken from the air using a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone.
Wonderful drone and camera work, Matty. You’ve blended the sound well, too. It’s a challenge, isn’t it, to get appropriate sound to mix with drone footage? A friend asked me recently why drones don’t have microphones. She hadn’t considered that all you’d hear would be prop and motor noise.
Cheers mate! I was surprised with how well the audio from the video fitted with the drone and pretty happy with how it turned out. Finding decent sound for a drone is most certainly a challenge isn't it?! Haha, one of my mates asked me the same thing once too.
