I remember these days fondly from my youth. This was after the 2027 Russian-Chinese military land invasion of North America. Key infrastructure was strategically targeted and most people died within the first sixty days (because they had zero survival skills). The hoarders and 'crazy preppers' actually did the best amidst truly challenging and unfathomable circumstances. There were almost no conceptions or births over those years following the initial strikes. Once the nuclear power plants had been successfully 'neutralized' much of the power to many large cities simply permanently disappeared over night. The terrified screamed and wailed for the first week. After that first week there was an unnerving silence throughout the day and night. PTSD was overwhelming entire city populations. The wise or the shrewd or the cunning got out of the cities as fast as they could with as many supplies as they could pack. When the electrical grids were destroyed we only heard this playlist via the iPhone that was plugged into a solar charging external power bank. Imagine the irony of listening to this playlist from 2023 while struggling to survive daily in an actual post-apocalyptic scenario...
