I'm usually very sceptical of anybody claming they perform thall (cuz ussually it's anything but that) but as soon as you plucked the strings I felt that this is THALL! Everything is according to one and only ancestor of the "subgenre" (that being Vildhjarta of course) You have embraced the soul of thier unique sounding 😆 and managed to reproduce it quite well imo. Thank you!

@@Zainmhz I would break the fucking bones... in my entire body... if it meant that I could be the lyricist / vocalist for the band. i have been desperately hoping and trying to be in a band since I was 11 years old... I turn 30 in November... I have a lot of lyrics now, and I have my vocals down, but I doubt that anyone will ever want me to join them. No one even acknowledges me.

Oh my god, I watched this video a while back and I bought a 7 string guitar. Coincidentally it's the same Cort model as yours!!! I'm shocked at how good it sounds. Really gonna try experimenting with sound effects as my setup right now isn't the best. Really hope to be able to play as well as you. Gotta start grinding :)

This is so sick!!! How do you go about writing riffs like this with so many pitch changes? Do you have it in your head and play in the guitar's tuning, then pitch shift it later? Or do you write the riffs with like a whammy pedal and program it in later? Subbed for thall 🔥

so basically i play the riff without the pitch shifting while tracking, but i planned and programmed the automation of the pitch shifting beforehand on the pre-pro then copy-paste the automation map to the final take track. and thank you so much! really appreciate it
