This would be useful if I found the video before mine arrived lmao. That aside, great video! Some additional tip: I'd recommend to clip the nubs in PCB mounted switches even if Planck provide holes for them. I've tried both PCB mounted Durock T1 and Gateron Milky Black and those nubs tend to not get inside the holes. If you're somewhat worried with the stability, I'm sure that it wouldn't be a problem as you got the plate doing exactly that.

It depends, they usually told you whether the switch is pcb or plate mounted. Although if you're getting the switches from Drop, it'd probably be plate mounted (that's what happened to me and Gateron brown anyway). As for soldering, pretty sure you dont need to as long as it's MX style switches and the PCB is rev6 and above
