Chris: this won’t be too too hard Me: okay sweet I’ve been playing for like 3 years it shouldn’t take me more than like 30 minutes to nail Chris: I’ll just play through it real quick mkay? Me: Uhoh
Just saw you guys in Seattle. Been a fan for a few years now. As a guitar player this is really cool. Seeing the artist actually show how they play it is pretty unique. Love your style and hope you can continue to put these out every now and then. Also, congrats on the new album. It fucks!
I really dig y'all's sound. This one is currently one of my favorites to play on the guitar. Thanks for the share man! I look forward to catching one of y'all's shows in the future
@@user-ez4pg7de7o do you mean 0:50- 0:52? if so, its just 14 G (string) to 13 B to 15 B bend then 15 B to 13 B i just wrote it so confusingly i hope you get it
I'm really struggling with the E minor to F major muting. Any advice? Are you playing the just the E and G and then the F and A/G with everything else muted? Thanks. Awesome song.
@@bumchase Instead of completely removing my ring and pinky fingers from the e minor shape, I keep my ring and pinky fingers in place and essentially play the e minor chord like I usually do but just lift them off slightly to mute the strings. I then slide up to the f major chord with my middle ring and pinky finger on the 10th fret and just play around with my pinky to get the melody. Not perfect but its serviceable for us mortals.
@@bumchase If you want to play it the correct way, just really focus on putting pressure on the tip of your finger that you're barring the seventh fret with. You'll almost unintentionally mute the d and g strings when you do that. It got easier for me once I stopped actively trying to lay the rest of my finger over the d and g strings to mute them. Hope that helps.
