Love that coffee spot on the brickworks! My "quick" fix is to go up he blaze hill, down on the brickworks, rinse and repeat as desired, on the final descend stop for a coffee and cake! then home to Tytherington! :) Thanks for your content!
So I used to go up sugar Lane, always avoided London Road. Then head up the brickworks, then Windgather and then up the hill on the opposite side of long hill. Back down the cat or blaze, class route. Thanks for the support on the video, getting back to riding more and a few videos coming up!
@@Russ_Dillon did that route about 3weeks ago! But after the windgather went down the pyms (better than up😂), goyt valley up to the cat, down the tegs nose and back to tyth. Climbing out of the goyt to the cat is a hell of a climb.. damp as “usual” too! Even saw a lad pushing up is classic moped up the pyms chair! Brave eh!! 😂😂
Yeah Pym Chair is brutal, I've done it twice but not for 2 years. I love where I live now but I miss the hills there so much. Enjoy your rides and thanks for getting involved with the channel!
@@Russ_Dillon got a friend at work that moved to Lytham St Annes that says the same - too flat and Misses the hills! I just get annoyed that doesn't matter where i go around here, there's always climbing involved.. Thanks for commenting!
@@jsva8661 I picked an awesome spot to move to that reminds me of Bollington, flat to the west, hilly to the east. Nothing as brutal as Winnats or Pym Chair on my door step, but a few nasty ones such as Jeffery Hill and Birdie Brow. Got a route plotted with 3 top 100 climbs in one ride, should be doing it this month....
Another great video Russ, he seems a nice chap1 Bit quick downhill though! Mind you, you did well to keep up, and a great workout through beautiful scenery. I liked the addition of text when the wind noise obscured your commentary - soon coming up to your first 100 subscribers and 10k views, keep it up:-)))
Cheers Gordon, a windy day and it was great to catch a glimpse of Wai as he sent it downhill! First time using chapters and subtitles, so the learning curve continues! Appreciate the comments and support as always!
