Kelly I had to smile when you lost your phone because I thought "If there's anyone that could retrieve it, It would be Kelly Young" Even though you made it look easy, that was a difficult task Your overall strength really showed.!

The "time" spent with people you love is indeed more precious than the actual activity. Memories, when described to someone, usually start off as "Remember the time when....?" Never have any regrets about the "time" one should have spent with a loved one, whether family or friend. My mom passed when she was only 52 and although it put a hole in my heart, I cherish the memories of the: time. Peace and love to all.

Another fabulous video Ms. kelly. I enjoy the little tid bits of info you throw out during your videos as well as the "how toos" with the equipment. Those kaku kayeks are definitely a neat alternative to the standard ones for people who have health concerns. The one thing i do really enjoy is you involve your family. So important these days. Plus your little adventure with the lost phone made for some drama and excitement haha. Overall the serenity of the environment was wonderful. As always, keep up the great work.

Those turkeys were cool! Also I am glad you got your ID's and phone back safely. I've never been in the water where gators are (im a midwestern native) but I went to college with a bunch of people from the south that did swim with them. they always said it was normally fine as long as your head was up while on the surface.

Hey Kelly, when you shorten the rack, just buy couplings and remove the amount of pipe you need to the shorten the rack. Cheaper than buying all new fittings.

FL Lost and Found Dept. Ask for Kelly!! Sharks, gators no problem!! OK Kelly (and Hi mom!), please be careful. Saw a video where gator rammed a kayak almost knocking it over. My best pal loves her blowup paddleboard but with big predators in the water it makes me nervous. Fortunately in New England no gators but on rivers that reach the ocean, there can be bull sharks. Anyway, speaking for all your subs I'll say take care, you've brought a lot of fun into our lives, you are a bright spot for us all. PS Mom's pretty cheery herself. Great family you have.

Kel, I modified my KAKU seat locks to double as additional rod holders. I use them for a quick place to hold rods out of the way off deck while I'm unhooking fish/replacing lures, and fast repositioning around brush/obstacles. Any good kayak supply store will have the brackets cheap. You simply add a longer bolt. (Get the swivel type to improve position options.) ~Cheers, baby!

Glad you found your phone that would have been a huge headache... That kayak/paddle board is awesome.. looks like the seat could be turned around and used like a bench seat on a center console...?

Hey Kelly, I have a suggestion based on another youtube creator. Chad Hoover from KBF (Kayak Bass Fishing)used a rig like device to secure his phone since he has had to replace his phone a couple of times before. Basically its a lanyard type device that has an elastic sqaure shaped end and the other end of the lanyard hooks into your gear. It wasnt on probably about 2 months ago. Like everyone else, i think those kayaks are Grooooovy. Though I'm not sure that its stout enough for me. I'd have to check the specs.

Even though my cell phone is supposed to be "water resistant", when I'm in my Kayak I carry it in a small water bag that allows me to use the phone without taking it out of the bag. It also has a handy wrist strap that I use to secure it to something onboard while my hands are busy fishing or paddling. They are inexpensive, and I usually have room for my wallet in the bag also!😃

When you were diving looking for your phone I kept telling my phone have her mom just call the phone while she is under the water should light up and also you should have been able to hear it... When you redo your Kayak rack put an axle with wheels on 1 end that way you can pick up the lighter end and just move it around the yard so you don't kill the grass completely

I remember going through the canals in Lake Counrty near Leesburg and the gators would swim right by us My brother.in laws boat was about 14 ft and not very high out of the water and my brother said the famous line from Jaws " I think we need a bigger boat " then everyone was cracking jokes . My brother in law has a real dry sense of humor and he came into the dock a little hot and the motor didn't shift too good so we kinda hit hard ...he calmy said " it's a nice boat but the brakes kinda suck " . He was always cracking me up . One time was standing by the back door of his house looked at his two little dogs and as he opened the door and said " let's go...last one out is a cat " never cracked a smile . The dude is hilarious 😂 . PK

Kelly don't cut the rack! instead go buy 2 pieces of ply wood cut to the length of the opening from end pipe to end pipe turn it into a storage rack for your gear and what ever else you need to your kayaks
