Sometimes when I’m pushing bigger trees down I’ll have the blade behind me and down. Usually keeps me in place and better leverage. Just a tip that you may already know though. Love the videos man. Keep ‘em coming.
I’m so glad I found your channel! The kind of work that you do is right up my alley. The message you bring has encouraged me and I wish there were more people in this world like you who are not afraid of sharing the truth of salvation on a public platform. To that I say AMEN
Thank you and welcome to the channel. I appreciate that encouragement because it let's me know the Lord is in this and that pushes me to keep going. So, God bless and thanks for supporting the channel to reach more folks with the message...
Today`s video was a Corker Sam ! You made a hard dangerous job look like fun. I hope you heard me yell Bravo! when that huge tree fell exactly where you wanted it. The pictures from the drone gives a good view of the trees coming down, better than just the ones on the ground. I`m spending the afternoon catching up on your videos as it is raining (at last) and I don`t feel guilty just loafing around. Today`s message was the best you have given I think. On to the next video.
Thanks Margaret and will I strive to make a Corker (will have to look that up) each time. 😳😁 I did enjoy this job and had a lot of fun recording and making the videos. The words in that message speaks loudly to the Christian life... God Bless...
That was a lot of fun making that video. I have at least one more where I cut up the saw logs and clean everything up. Some nice lumber in those trees for sure...
What a great message today. Got got real close with those trees. I watched a wrangler star video a while back where he showed how the forestry service knows exactly how tall a tree is and where it will land when cut. Wish I could remember how it worked. Those are some big trees. I know the videos just don’t do them justice. Great job, keep up the good work!!
Thanks! I enjoyed sharing that message. I've heard of that method for measuring trees, but I don't remember it either. A lot of good lumber in the trees that I save on the next video. Owner asked me to go ahead and cut up the logs and clean up. So, I did that earlier this week.
Thanks Annie and welcome to the channel. I appreciate you subscribing and commenting. This video was a lot of fun to make and glad you enjoyed it... Sam
We just finished up the pad yesterday. Davin with IDigIt4 was here for 3 days and we both recorded a lot of the work. May be a week or so but we both will have videos of the work leveling the pad. Thanks, Sam
Thanks Cole and welcome to the channel. We'll, we can do some more of the "how close can we get". I had a lot of fun making that video. I was definitely laughing while doing that... Sam
@@tristardiggin I am learning a lot from you as I just went off on my own with excavation and land clearing business in north al.. was wondering where you are from?
SE Tennessee. About 1 hour from Chattanooga, near Cleveland and Athens. Glad to help and wish you well in your new business. Like to hear folks making there own way... God Bless...
Real nice saw logs. Owner asked me to go ahead and cut up the logs and cleanup. That will be in an upcoming video. Will use the dozer to build the pad. Will be cut with no fill/pack.
Those last trees were monsters, but they came down fairly easily. You ever think about getting a root ripper for the 308? I got one for jobs like this and it is a lot easier on the machine on those big tree roots. Nice message brother.
Yup, they were some big trees. The biggest one was 10' around the base at ground level. I have a ripper, I should probably try it more. I just like the way you can handle the brush and limbs with the bucket. They did come down pretty easy. Thanks
Yes Sir, glad to help. In the 3 videos just before the one you watched I burned all the material from this job site. In the videos, especially the first one (Big Burn and Land Clearing), I show how I start and maintain a good brush fire. I've been watching some of your videos, enjoying them...
#1: TOO FAR! (My prediction before you did it) . #2: couldn't call it. #3: stopped video you're on the wrong side of the trunk. 😁Imagine trying this in an SV-40 at half the weight. LOL! Hahaha! You couldn't come closer to that tripod if you tried. Give Matt a call down at VMC in South Carolina and get a ripper. I've been the prototype on many products and they make quality stuff. Love the videos! Quality work with a tremendous message for everyone. Thank you for speaking the plain truth. It's not popular but it's the truth. I grew up with a drug problem. . .my parents drug me to church on Sunday morning, evening and Wednesday night. My parent's belief didn't write my name on the Lamb's Book of Life. I made that choice myself. My parent's faith could not get me there. We can play too far or too close in life with taking down trees, but that's where it's starts and stops. We are only children of God or we are not. Hell will be full of "good" people.. Good enough may cut it here on Earth, but that standard falls short according to God.
Yup, that was fun. I enjoyed making this video, for sure. I have a ripper I just don't use it much. Maybe I will try it more on the next clearing job. I like how the bucket handles cleanup of the logs, limbs and the brush. Exactly right on how we are saved. It's not by anyone's faith. It's by our own faith and repentance. And it is a shame that so many folks will be eternal lost because of their unbelief...
@@tristardiggin I smacked it with a 2x10 as I was turning around with it looking the other way and then it hit the concrete. I've knocked it over before but it hit just right that time to finish it off. I should have had it further back or in a better spot I suppose.
@@tristardiggin btw, im thinking about renting excavator and doing myself. However, havent operated since 2007. If u interested, id do some editing/thumbnail work for ur channel. In exchange just for some tips/advice if i choose to clear myself.
Have you been happy with your cat excavators. I thought I had decided on one of two , the Kubota KX080 or the tac. 290 . The 308 has gotten my attention though.
