It was actually neither. Up this far north, in late September, the sun is out all day, but it never rises too high above the horizon. So it always looks slanted like this, and every day rises a little less high, until November or so, when it stops breaking over the horizon at all until February or March.
Loved your vlog as always. You did in fact find a perfect lunch spot. What a view!! That bathroom diagram was interesting. No peeing on the floor? Man that rule gets broken a lot at rest areas in USA.
One thing I have never successfully done in all my years of traveling, despite my best efforts: leave time to explore everything fully! What could be 40 minutes can take 3 hours, but could also take 2 days to REALLY see it all
Love it! Ole eagle eyes here noticed in your video a bus stop sign , that tells me of the extensive bus and ferry systems available out of Tromsø I want to employ as I will not have use of a car.
It's a bus going from Tromsø to Alta every day at 16 o' clock. It's been like that as long as I can remember. It's a recomended trip and takes 6, 5 hours. Two ferries on the way.
