and so it seems that yet another band is going in the “blackened deathcore” direction, they even named their album “sulphur cvlt” can’t get much more bandwagon than that! the old drown in sulphur was so much more original and genuine. it’s not that i don’t like this. i think it fuckin slaps, but i just can’t get over the fact that the drummer kicked everyone the fuck out and got all new guys

Honestly the best thing you guys have released since the new lineup. I am still upset with Domenico for obvious reasons, but that doesn't mean i cant appreciate the work the rest of the boys have put in.

I've looked for things explaining your side and I've found nothing. If there is something that explains your side I'd honestly be delighted to see it. From what I've seen you've been quiet where as the former boys that made Defamed had no issue putting out their story. Is it not natural to assume that you're trying to hide something? Also I must say another thing that is positive, i know in the past you used to reply much more harsherly to things that were similar to what I wrote. Here you seem a lot less angry, so thank you for that. Yes, that was genuine and not sarcastic.
i like this but, what was the point of replacing the whole band, it’s not like this is much different, and i really liked the old lead vocalist, i’m gonna check out some more Defamed
I really love this clash of black metal and deathcore, the lyrics are feel so grand and epic! As someone who grew up in a religious household then discovered Satanism at 15 I feel a little of myself in this song. "Ora pro Belial" I assume can roughly mean, "pray for no masters"..? Belial was a name the meant a lot to me, "Without a master" so the meaning stuck with me. Then "Vivant Tenebrae" is roughly "death savant". overall very badass song. Good job guys

damn, this song slapped me, this really remind me of old songs from old drown in sulphur, i would prefer non satanic lyrics because i dont like 'the crawling chaos' and 'essence'. Also no paint on the face. Without satanic lyrics and paints on face would much be a banger for me to enjoy songs and videos. This song really reminds me of blackwind and moths. I want more songs like this! Vivant Tenebrae is in my fav list! I dont believe in gods. I only believe in one god. Knock off all of the man made gods!
We are not Christian Metal and we appreciate what you have said but no text is aimed at supporting religion in general. We tend to analyze and write texts impartially.

I actually read lyrics when listening to my fav songs so they dont against my religion's rule. Sex, alcohol, satanic, blaming god, and drugs in lyrics are really i avoid but so far, i am always waiting good songs from you guys!
I loved the original singer a lot but the new lead singer is really really good he has a special twist in his scream that I just love so much. Dude you are the shit and keep letting world here your voice and scream!
This isn't a bad song at all... But I really have two problems with this. The first one is that we already heard many bands play this kind of stuffs, I don't feel the Drown in Sulfur style. The second one is your face painting, it really reminds me those kids in their adolescent crisis
