Well done that man thats real patience for ya, I Went down to Howes Models in Oxford the other day and asked for some after run oil and the chap said what do you want after run oil for, hes been running Nitro cars for 25 years and has never used after run oil once, he also said clean and oil the air filter in nothing but Nitro fuel. cant argue with experience like that.

My brother-in-law was called 'Piglet' on the CB back in the 80s hearing you say it made me 😂 Thanks Ben! I can relate' I got dragged out the canal a fair few times. Like I said before Ben! If this happens to me I would tip out the water put some wd40 in the engine and the carb then pull the pull start a few times to get any remaining water out. Then I would heat the engine up with a hair drier to dry it out completely. Then I would put some 3 in 1 oil in and run that through a few times with the pullstart. Then put the glow plug back in and try start it.

This didn’t drown but was funny. When I was about 6 my brother was using my old tamiya but dropped the remote and batteries went everywhere this thing shot of down our road by itself and some random guy who lived on our estate drove over it and completely squashed it like a pancake about two seconds later the guy who ran over it caught it and brought it back to us as the old mechanical speedo was still set to max throttle

I think it would be easier to remove the water if you turn the vehicle upside down when you pull the starter cord
