Now this is why we say Dru Hill is one of the best R&B groups. Live...they ve always slayed..with a hot butchers knife!! I'm glad they carried tht torch from Jodeci continuing true R&B..this is by far the best vocal performance for 2022!! Jazz..not to be played with!!
Live recordings/performances are SUPPOSE to be better than the studio ones. But this usually ONLY happens when you use a live band. That's one reason I can't stand hip hop because only a handful of rappers use a live band. I didn't come here to watch you talk over a turntable, I can do that at home by pressing play on the album.

Hey am from St.Kitts a small country in the Caribbean wen Dru Hill came out I was in school and they rocked the place, now after I was done with school one of my first jobs I wrkd for Amerijet the shipping company. Now my island holds a Show every yr called the St.Kitts Music Festival. So on the job one day during Music Fest while wrkn I off loaded these Dragon symbols and I was like WTF are these shit so i didn't pay them any mind, now gone to the show on the Sat Night so they turn off the lights and prep for the nxt act which is Dru Hill, a mean I knew they were gonna be there for thts the Main reason I went to the show tht night bcse of Dru Hill, so they announce the nxt act which is Dru Hill and am going crazy already WTF wen they turn they lights on and I saw all the Stage settings it was all the same Dragon settings I off loaded like 2 days b4 and I was like yow yow yow, I tek dem tings off de plane, I tek dem tings off de plane, yow I help Dru Hill I help Dru Hill lololol, now at this time ppl in the crowd looking at me like am crazy and am like ... why the fck y'all dnt mind y'all bizness and my frens are dying with laughter lolololololol, they be like boy why you cursing the ppl they didn't do you anything so I said exactly why the fck are they lookin at me am here with you guys .... lolololololol

Well technically they didn't replace most three of the members are still actively touring Jazz sisqo Nokia then you have Teo, black and smoke from the group Playa only member missing is Woody Rock and the only reason Jazz has been away is due to health issues but now he's back and Dru Hill is set to release an album top of 2023

I’m from Baltimore and Dru Hill is from here. They are and will FOREVER be a big deal to us. Growing up and memorizing Dru Hill songs on the radio by heart was a rite of passage for us. I am so honored that talent like this came from my city for the whole world to enjoy. I love them so much! ♥️♥️
Im 39 and use to see mark dancing when my dad would take us down to the fudgery. He was singing and dancing with that pallet of fudge. And all I could think was I don't want to eat chocolate on the floor 😂
I grew up in Balitmore mane I dru hill is my group mane I miss songs like this mane. And jazz is my favorite he can sing his ass off and beauty is a good song!
The Dru Hill Mass Choir sounds AMAZING. Group full of great talent even with the add ons. Definitely my top fave group. R&B is definitely missing this in today’s music. 😢

DRU Hill………….. it is wonderful to see them perform. It’s even better to see that they not drugged out like a lot of old groups . They still sound good AF, and the performance is on point.

Fooled the hell out of me🤔🤔 I know they had some problems back in the day as a group, but that's why I was so happy to see them all together on one stage after all these years...or at least I thought it was all of Druhill original members. Anyway great performance and they looked good and the sound was amazing!!🥰🥰
They did in 2010 and Sisqo did in 2015 or 2016 I believe. Copped both and they didn't disappoint. They have dropped a cpl of singles in the last cpl of years too that were great. Check them out when you have a chance.

Back when singers had actual training and could sing without the help of technology. They knew the right notes, the right key, and the right tone. More of this, please.
I mean they KILLED IT!!! Verzuz needs Dru hill, Silk, Shia, Boys to Men, Jodeci, New Edition, Jagged Edge, 112, etc. R&B gives you a feeling and you can feel what they're singing about. It's an experience. This is true R&B. What a great performance and i've watched it a few times.
Members have come and gone but the vocals never leave. The guys from playa fit perfectly. When Tao joined a while back it gave the group a whole new level of sound that they didn't have before. Jazz and Sisqo are like Kobe and Shaq. Together they are damn near unbeatable!!!
Young people take notes lol this is what you call a performance. Everybody singing on key, getting the crowd involved, and most importantly making you feel what they sing.

Man, Dru Hill is the real shit. 90's r&b was crazy. These groups were in the studio crafting their music to make it their own - pushing eachother to make the best music possible. I sound corny af but we are lucky to have these artists.

Dru Hill is hands down in my Top 3 Groups of All Time. I am so happy Jazz is back. The vocal control is unparalleled. That dude's voice pierces your soul. They should record this version of Beauty.
I applaud Sisqo for walking away from an industry that tried to control them and their direction of their music career. He said in his documentary/story, that he couldn't bring his own peeps to be part of the success process from producer, engineer etc so everybody can eat ,$$$, he didn't want no part of it'. The label they sign with wanted to have full control and bring in their own people vs Dru Hill using his own crew. In so many words that's why their career didn't last that long in the lime light. That's mad respect to Sisqo for standing his ground. 🙏🏾

In the 90's those two new members of Dru Hill were in a group of their own called Playa. They sang "Cheers To You" and worked with Timbaland and Missy. There was a 3rd member but he passed away.

I'm so glad Tao is back. At this point, Tao, Smoke, and Black (from Playa) is as part of Dru Hill as anyone else has been. They can SANG. And so can Jazz. Good to see him.
It's crazy how the addition of the cats from "Playa" have actually made one of the great R & B groups of their time even better than they were vocally before. Each one of these guys can sing lead and damn ain't Jazz still silky smooth as f*ck! Kudos guys , kudos!
Exactly bcuz years ago I found out Woody was average singer and Nokio couldn’t carry a note… so this edition was perfect for the harmonies. Dope and I want a concert ASAP
