This comment hit different for me because I'm currently in the hospital I almost died a month ago and this song crossed my mind today. So it feels good watching this in 2024
I was born in 1990 and unfortunately I could only remember back as far as 1995 and maybe 94 so I only got to experience remembering the last 5 years of the 90s. l remember the 90's Television shows and movies and also the early shows such as Martin, Fresh Prince ect.. but If i was born in the 80's I would've experience all of the 90's. The early 90's looked really fun man but i was damn near a new born/todler lol
Shoutout to the Lark Vorhees cameo... Def 90s crush.... Dru Hill is a complete vibe. The male RnB group was a 90s staple.... the nostalgia trip this music gives...yess
I hated how people used to overlook Sisqo vocals, he was definitely serving us with. He contributed so much to their sound. Dru Hill was one of the most talented and underrated groups from the 90s. They deserve their flowers and recognition for all their work.
I just started a Dru Hill playlist on my iPhone out all of their songs This one is my favorite does singing and dancing is amazing. I love how the video is base off the man in the iron mask with the three musketeers.
Right! Let's give these guys their flowers while they're still here. They still have many fans around the country and the world who still listen to their music. I thank them for the memories.
Back when writing about actual love was a thing... "The moment when less means so much more.. we dont have to do a thing at all, we take our time and talk" "Just let the mood set the moment off.. we can make love or not at all.."
The year is 1998, I'm in labor with my son. I have a Walkman playing this song over and over in my ears. It was the only thing that could make me relax. Good music, good memories
"These are the times we all wish for The moment with less means so much more We don't have to do a thing at all We can take our time and talk And this is the way things need to be No pressure from you and none from me Just let the mood set the moment off We can make love or not at all" Almost 25 years and I just realized how DEEP these words are!!!
JAM S man it was groups like this Dru Hill that set the trend for me when it comes to love and respect for women, I miss the 90s , the bling era came and that was all she wrote.
I was 8 or 9 years old singing their songs to girls in middle school. I kinda wish i was a teenager during the 90's instead of the 2000's just to experience the love songs during puberty but hell I still got the chance to say i enjoyed the 90's first hand. Sounds like im a little bit younger than you by a few short years tho lol
I agree that 96-2001 era of R&B was gold brandy,Tyrese,brian mcnight,boys 2 men,usher,mariah carey,monica,whitney houston,R.kelly,112,jagged edge etc.....
A bunch of monotone sounds, with a bunch of words, On top of mind control frequencies. And they all sound the same. The songs no longer have melodies to them.
Back in the day we had songs that made you fall in love and want to make love. They don’t make songs like that anymore. The 80’s, 90’s, 2000-2016, and of course 60’s and 70s were the best eras in music 🎶
Love this song because of how the voices of Jaz and Sisqo are interchangeable. They complimented each other in their vocal arrangements. This brings me back to my late 20's so beautiful years.
Why can’t our black ppl see that we as people was so much happier, loving, and family oriented when this music was around 🥺. They pushing this agenda with this new music that’s all about “fuck these hoes” and “don’t trust or love nobody” and it’s dividing our families sadly. Who still listening in 2021 tho??🔥🔥❤️
So I read comments like this a lot. While this music did exist let's not forget that Snoop (We don't love them hoes and G's Up, Hoes Down) was very much around and popular. Very very popular. Along with Biggie, along with 2Pac (I get around...hell, How Do You Want it was filled with porn stars). And Mr. Family man himself, Ice Cube. What I will say is that R&B itself has started to incorporate more of that in the 2000s but black people have been consuming the anti love message for a long long time.
The Three Muskateers and Man In The Iron Mask. Alexander Dumas who had Afro-Carribian ancestry wrote these timeless classic stories. They up to now stood the test of time.
At the time when this song came out I was a hard core rap fan secretly I was loving this song and this group but man I just didn’t realize they were one of the best soulful RnB groups ever ! Man I miss my 90’s 😢 ! These were the times !! Real singers rappers musicians etc ! I Miss my 90’s if you were there your blessed and know what I’m talking about 🙏 ❤
"Swallow you like reese's pieces come on girl you know I need you" .... We all lived for that part in middle school when this came out... gosh, I wish my son could have these kinds of songs now, you know the ones with the message 'no pressure, WE CAN WAIT'...
WoW!!!!! "These are the times we all wish for. The moment when less means so much more. We don't have to do a thing at all. We can take our time and talk. This is the way things need to be. No pressure from you & none from me. Just let the mood set the moment off. We can make love or not at all." Such a great message! I wish more guys were like this!
