I'm interested in a brushes for beginners kind of video. I've gotten so much more comfortable with makeup overall thanks to you, but I still feel insecure about using certain brushes for my face and eye makeup. I can't really tell what I should be looking for when it comes to brush quality.
Tati, I'm assuming that you are using your own palette for your eye look in this video, and I would be over the moon if you would do a tutorial on that look because holy smokes it is beautiful and I would love to try it out on myself, but I do not trust my makeup ability to guestimate the colors and placement to recreate it.
after having her pallet since a few days after launch and using it religiously, I can say it is super user friendly and even just a general idea of the colors and placement would give you a look very close to this! she probably went in with soothe matte in the crease to begin, then deepened up the outer corner with ritual matte. she then probably blended those two colors a little more with a light wash of story matte or sequin, then tapped ritual metallic on the outer lid. you could probably use ritual, story, or soothe glitter on the inner lid, but if I had to guess, I think she used soothe. she most likely blended ritual and a little story on the lower lash line, then buffed that out with soothe matte. it also looks like she used memory to line her eyes, because it looks a little more smudgy than a pencil or liquid liner. lastly, she probably tapped some aura metallic on her inner corner and lower tear-duct and then gave a little hit of either metallic or matte aura underneath her brow bone. I know this isn’t the same as a tutorial from queen tati, but maybe it’ll help you recreate a similar look in the meantime! 😋💗

I feel your speech on cancer. It’s a whole other level. My husband has stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s been the hardest thing to deal with. The amount of stress is insane. My hair has started falling out. It’s just crazy how cancer just takes everything out of you as a spouse of someone who has cancer. The fear is so real.

You are so sweet about your friend with cancer. It hit home for me because I have been battling stomach cancer since April and it has been quite a journey. No matter how positive you stay thru it, it is the hardest journey you have to ho thru. If you made Angie smile, that is the best gift ever.
I've used Rapidlash for 2 years now without issue. No redness on lid or in eyes. Get it at a great price at Costco. I love it! You have to give it a consistent 8 weeks to see anything, but after that lashes will pop. Don't go without it now.
(I’m an eye doctor.) Any lash serum containing a prostaglandin (including Latisse and Lash Boost) have the potential to make your eyes red since prostaglandins are pro-inflammatory. Lumify is an OTC drop that reduces redness extremely well without the rebound effect seen with chronic Visine use, so that’s what I recommend to patients in need of instantaneous redness relief.
Sarah Jones so agree with you on the Lumify eye drops. I use them in combination with Systane Lubricant eye drops. They’re amazing. You’re so right about the rebound effect. My eyes have never been so bright and never feel uncomfortable after using.
What about rohto? I use that when i have bloodshot eyes and wow! The green was my jam but can only find the blue and red anymore. Its like a mint for your eyeballs, its like a spicy cold lol idk. But so refreshing and within a minute i have pure white eyeballs. I do tear up for about 2 minutes though. It works so well but can that be good?
I worked for an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon. He militantly tells people to never use Latisse or any dupes on your eyes. We had patients come in with major issues. Also Visine is terrible. Use Refresh brand (preferably preservative free) eye drops. You can get them OTC and use it when your eyes are dry, red, or need to wash something out of your eye.
Esthetician here! ✋🏼 Any lash conditioner that actually promotes new growth is going to leave that red staining on the lid. For what it’s worth, Grande Lash (at Sephora) is every bit as good as R+F’s lash boost, and you wouldn’t be supporting the predatory business models of multi level marketing companies. If you want a great conditioner that does not contain that staining active ingredient, find you an esthetician that retails Elleebana lash conditioner! It’s amazing and retails for $36.
TATI TRY BABE LASH!!!! My mom has used it for about a year and her eyelashes touch her eyebrows when she looks straight ahead/normal!! I use it and it’s amazing definitely recommend!!!

Tati for your lashes try Jamaican black castor oil!!! All natural and a large jar is only $15 on Amazon. I massage it on my brows and lashes at night and it’s AMAZING for conditioning and stimulating hair growth. It’s even great to use on your scalp!
BABE LASH!!! Omg. I seriously had no lashes on one eye, and like 3 lashes on the other (thank you, hormones). Four weeks using Babe Lash and i seriously look like im wearing falsies- but its my lashes. Just go. Buy it. And I have light watery blue eyes, and the Latisse eye color changing thing is seriously petrifying to me. Babe Lash doesn't do any of that. Love it!!!

i also personally didn't like the elf jelly blush but the highliter, i LOVED it! especially on no makeup, makeup days were it was just some spot concealing, clear brow gel, that and a lipgloss, very nice.
Rivitalash!! My eyelashes and eyebrows fell out during chemotherapy. I had chemo for 3.5 years. After my last round, my oncologist refused to prescribe eyelash serum because she said they don’t really work but I NEEDED something. I got a recommendation for Revitalash and have been using it for a couple of years and my eyelashes and eyebrows have grown back in- they were not growing at all before Revitalash. I’ll need chemotherapy again and will continue to use this every day. My eyelashes fall out without it.
I've tried SO many lash serums but BABELASH is on another level. My eyes are soooo sensitive but this never makes them red or itchy or burn. THE HOLY GRAIL OF EYELASH SERUMS I SWEAR 😍🙌
I really like to layer blushes. I think a shimmery one is really nice on top of a more matt one, placed more on the highest parts of the cheeks. Or as an every day blush when I'm not wearing highlighter.

Xlash is the best! Doesn't irritate nor change eye color. Other one I like is Talika, but I can feel that one on my eyes and next morning can tell I had it on. But the xlash just sinks in immediatly and the applicator is easy to use.

I absolutely adore Tati and think she's usually fair in all her reviews. Howeverrrr....anything makeup revolution made (e.g. makeup obsession, revolution pro, i ♡ makeup etc....) she will give a bad review and be emphatic about it lol. I don't know what happened but she always hates the product before she's given it a fair chance. Thats my opinion anyhoo! 🧡 xxxx
@@fattychoccie it's because makeup revolution is a very inconsistent brand, especially with the eyeshadow palettes. every time they do new one it looks great in the pics but when I try it in stores they are very chalky and lucking in pigmentation
I know all too well about cancer, I’ve battled it 3x now, I’ve had 4 good scans since my last treatments and everything is going in the right direction. That’s how I got into the beauty community, I would watch makeup videos to help me with my makeup application while I was going through treatments, u were one of the ones I watched through that time, u defo helped me with my makeup, I always got compliments on my eye looks

A good thing to remember though if you've already purchased a bronzer or blush or even highlight that's too shiny or not the right color for your face - try it as an eyeshadow! I bought a gorgeous purpley-blue highlighter from Wet-n-wild on clearance specifically to use on my eyes and it's gorgeous like that. Always try these things as shadow before you toss them!
This. After discovering my new Barry M Bronzer is ashy (and I mean disappointingly ASHY) on my cheekbones, I decided to repurpose it as a transition colour & viola! It’ll take a while to get through but at least it’s still useful.
I just got this advertised on this video and I’ve been genuinely wondering if it’s worth it or if it’s some weird off-brand that’ll give me chemical burn or something. I’d love an in-depth review on a real person as I don’t always trust written online reviews for brands I haven’t heard of. I actually have the Belle Jordan palette and I quite enjoy it. The only somewhat lack luster shades are the first 2. So maybe you did get a dud palette? Cause I also just swatched it to make sure and a lot of the colors were quite pretty.
I have 2 palettes from makeup obsession and the mattes and the shimmers are both great . They’re not the best in the world but they’re really good for the price point.

Whenever I'm shopping for makeup it's like I have a little Tati angel on my shoulder reminding me what's worth it or not 🤣That happened when I was shopping for mascara and I saw L'oreal Lash Paradise and I remember thinking Tati uses this so it has to be good and it's now the only drug store mascara I buy. 💜
I tried an eye primer from NYX, placed my concealer on-top, and THEN set with Kat Von D setting powder and my gosh it was a mucky patchy mess. My lids are naturally oily and I just can't get it right .. suggestions people?
I blend out the bare minimum of concealer on my lids to brow bone* for eyeshadow with my fingertip. Just for the benefit of a tacky base with a little colour correcting. No setting powders, just gentle eyeshadow application and blending. Natural brow bone shade.
Hey Tati! Grande lash from Sephora is amazing I highly recommend it! Never had any irritation whatsoever and people are always asking how my eyelashes are so long. I’ve tried others before that have burned the crap out of my eyes
Pure castor oil and a spoolie! I put it on in the am and pm (if I'm wearing mascara then I don't put it on) after cleansing/toning and I have never had such STRONG, voluptuous lashes/eyebrows. I personally noticed a difference in about 2 and a half weeks maybe 3. Now if only i can find something that'll help the lashes stay curled 😭
Hey I heard that waterproof mascara usually can hold the curl up. I do have a product recommendation tho! It's from KISS ME by ISSEHAN (a japanese brand), called make long & curl. I have real short eyelashes and normal mascara (like loreal's lash paradise) can't hold my eyelashes' curl, but this one works really good.

That might explain why I dont like mine either. I was so excited to get it after seeing everyone else loving it. Mine is patchy and such dull colors. I got a dud too 😥
I am currently using the Shu Uemura Lash Builder and I've seen a noticeable difference. My lashes aren't falling out like crazy anymore so they're able to grow a little longer and seem much stronger and healthier. I have sensitive eyes as well and it doesn't irritate my eyes in the slightest.
To all the people talking about the glaucoma medication in certain lash serums like Latisse: yes, it has bimatoprost as the active ingredient. Yes, it has been known to turn irises brown and sometimes the area of application. It's not like one day you'll wake up with brown eyes, but you'll have plenty of chances to stop. The reason it contains this active ingredient is because it has been a known side effect of bimatoprost, travoprost, and latanoprost - all glaucoma medications - that they really stimulate lash growth. Now, another product to be very, very wary of in my opinion is the Lumify eye drops. They come in a silvery box and are meant to make the whites of your eyes (sclera) whiter. Yes, they do work, but that is because the active ingredient is brimonidine tartrate, another glaucoma medication. This has been known to ophthalmologists for years to make the whites whiter, especially after crying, allergic reactions, or a hangover. I would caution against using this frequently. I have also used a sample of the actual medication this is the half percent of for the same reason after an allergic reaction (used to work for optometrists) and it made me incredibly photophobic (light sensitive), and my eyes felt very sore. My vision was also quite blurred. These symptoms were also experienced by one of the doctors who used it for the first time. I'm not saying it will definitely happen to you and I'm certainly not saying your pressure will lower too much by using it, but please be aware. I mean yeah, it works, but if you don't like the active ingredient in R+F lash serums, know that Lumify is no different.
I have had glaucoma for years and half blind in one eye. I use Travatan drops and it is very irritating. The irritation is not from lower eye pressure its the effect it has itself on the eye tissue. Alot of people just can't use them. I don't know the dose in the growth stimulant products but its probably not as much. All I know is that class of meds is extremely irritating, does cause bluriness and dry eyes.
@@jenniferannfox2316 Travatan isn't the active ingredient in any lash boosters that I know of, but no, the irritation isn't from the lowering of the pressure. It's just an effect of the drug. However, if someone were to use something like Lumify frequently, I suppose there's a chance their pressure could be lowered, but I really don't know. Wouldn't want to find out, either.
I have the Belle Jordan palette and I quite enjoy it! It’s definitely not the best I have but in the UK it’s a pretty cheap brand and I think it’s good for the price. I also think that swatches aren’t a great representation on how shadows actually perform 💕

I have that belle Jordan palette but I’ve only used three shades, the gold, the burgundy(that has a little bit of glitter), and the black. I like the gold and burgundy, hated the black.

Use castor oil for your eyelashes!! It is all natural and safe for your eyes. I started using it in October and haven’t noticed major results but I hear you have to use lash serums for 3-6 months to see results.
Castor oil is amazing!!!but you have to be consistent with it. I applied it to my brows as i had really thin eyebrows and now my eyebrows are thicker and i even have to pluck them! And my eyelashes are thicker.
Belle Jordan is a RU-vidr/Londoner I met at Uprawr, she’s a lovely lady and I have her palette, I’ve never had a problem with the pigmentation with mine (make up obsession is by make up revolution) =/
I wish she gave the same effort she used to linking everything. I can look up products and find any video she has done mentioning them. I wish she would get an assistant or something just for that
Sometimes she just needs a little time. My advice, come back in an hour and see. She is dedicated so it's not like she chose not to. More like she had a meeting or whatever and didnt have time.
I adore Tati but she hasn’t been linking what she’s wearing on her face or linking every product mentioned. It makes it really easy to look back on her videos when searching products in descriptions. It’s a way she always seemed to care so much about what she’s doing and she has a lot more going on now, which I support and buy Halo but I love Tati for her quality and I wish it was the same.

@@sallycain3716 Just use castor oil. You can buy a sizeable container at any pharmacy for about $10. Castor oil is tried and true when it comes to hair growth.
