Those Revlon eyeshadows have been amazing for years. I tend to grab Loreal mascara though when in the drugstore.

The Revlon Candid foundation, also available in a glow formula, goes on beautifully and is my favorite foundation as far as the way it feels going onto your skin. Very luxurious feeling for a foundation but not heavy, hard to explain. A more smooth and creamy feeling but again not heavy. It comes in a tube with a pump on it as well so dispensing it is easy and not messy.

Lisa, The Revlon products look great on you. I started using Revlon as a teenager many years ago and I still have some favorites. They make outstanding lip products and the eyeshadow quads are also very good. Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day!

I have been a Revlon user for a long time. My favorites are the lipsticks they have colors that i go back to year after year. Cherries in the Snow, Revlon Red to name a couple are all time favorites of mine. Thanks for the video and review of Revlon.

Lisa I love how real you are! It’s enjoyable to watch a real mature lady grow and age gracefully without having to use procedures that most women cannot afford or don’t want to have. Of course, too each their own, I just like to watch channels where the person I’m watching is comfortable in their own skin. I think the eyeshadow could have been used as a blush 😊 you are so so pretty but the Revlon products did not move me. Maybe I'll try the eyebrow product. Thank you for your video! Stay gorgeous and sweet!

Hi Lisa, all the Revlon products looked pretty on you. I started wearing Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks when they were still sold in department stores. Blushing Mauve is a pretty MLBB color. Pink in the Afternoon Revlon said was the one Audrey Hepburn wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's. One change that is nice is the Super Lustrous lipsticks have no scent. At least on this page you’ll find some others nodding their heads about when Revlon was sold in department stores! I was pretty quiet and shy but I let my wild side show with Raven Red nail polish! LOL

Wow! I didn't know they got rid of the scents in the lipsticks. That was a deal breaker for me b/c I hate scents in my cosmetics. I will try the Super Lustrous now. Thanks.

Janet the creme and pearl Super Lustrous lipstick in my experience with them have no scent anymore. The shiny lipsticks I think do have a scent, but I have not tried them. Someone on you tube reviewed them. I have also not tried the Revlon Matte lipsticks. Clinique is another fragrance free option for you. Their lipsticks are very nice

@@karenejkleinfineart I will try one or 2 of the Revlon you mentioned. I have used Clinique products for about 40 years, since my early 20's when I started using makeup "seriously". I love their lipsticks and their lack of fragrance. They did discontinue some of the lines of lipstick that I loved using like the Long Last lipstick. I especially loved "Beauty" and "Bamboo Pink". But I like their "Pop" lipsticks and Pop Splash Lip gloss. Thanks.

I was a Revlon fan until they started selling in China. I’ve always had to be careful not to use their scented products or those containing lanolin. But otherwise I liked many of their products on my pale skin. Obviously, they don’t work as well for darker skin tones, which is not cool. For years, their eyeshadows and lip glosses were a staple for me. And I loved their butter lipstick. The first blush I ever bought was Revlon in a stick form. I wasn’t fond of their powder blushes, though. It seems like your experience wasn’t very positive. That’s unfortunate. I’m glad you liked the same products I do.

These are fun videos- love all the new products to try from the drugstore. Looking forward to the NYX one! I just picked up the marshmallow primer because of Pretty Over 50/Kim’s recommendation and tried it today for the first time and loved it!

You created a great look even with the to light foundation. My daughter uses the eyeliner so as I was needing one, I purchased it. I haven’t decided if I like it or not. I’m definitely not a fan of the smudged tip but it does seem to stay after it dries down. The eyeshadow was a big hit! Thanks for the review. Have a great Mother’s Day! ❤️

Hallo, I don't have a lot of Revlon products I just realized. When I went to see what I use most. I guess it would be their Lippies but I do love Revlon photo ready primeplus perfecting + smoothing primer. On a few of my foundations ( Laura Mercier is one) this or tatcha silk canvas are my saving grace for smoo to h skin like look and staying power.

Interesting Brand segment - I'm not a fan of Revlon and never have been. Watching you today did not change my mind either. Thank you for taking the time and doing a full face - it is so helpful to know how a product will perform before we purchase. The Loreal segment you did was fabulous! Honestly all the products you applied look great on you - color wise and texture. Excited to hear that you're planning a NYX I'm curious about their line.... didn't you do an Elf as well? The Revlon micro eyeliner is great for tightlining and I’ve had good results with it staying put. The ColorStay lip liners are wonderful, too, very long wearing. Thanks for the video.

The eyeshadow is so pretty, Lisa! Any fall out? The cream blush definitely disappeared - I do like the powder color stay blush formula which is really pigmented and lasts. I do not like setting sprays that spit on my face either. Glad to hear you like the concealer. It has been getting great reviews.

I think this was one of your prettiest looks. Very natural - you, only better as they say - despite being a bit too light a shade in the foundation and the blush. I have very pale skin and loved this foundation for a few years once I rediscovered Revlon when my finances were a bit tight about 10-12 years ago. The last bottle I bought, just before the pandemic, was disappointing as they had changed something and my usual shade was darker. It wasn’t fixable because I wear the lightest shade. I haven’t really worn makeup since a few months into the whole mess. My face was covered with a mask so I just did my eyes until I realized that the only people I saw were in my rear view mirror, putting groceries into my car in the pickup lane. And I was wearing sunglasses! LOL Now I need to start fresh and I’ve been lost, trying to figure out where to begin. Now I’m thinking I should give the Revlon a try again and hope they’ve adjusted the colors back again. And I may try that blush as many as simply too pigmented in my skin, giving me the look of a cheap doll! Though I really love my ancient Ester Lauder in a rosy color and an even older Cover Girl in a peachy pink, both powders that last forever. Anyway, thanks for the video. I would have gone with Ester Lauder or Lancôme, but for as seldom as I’m still wearing makeup, drugstore just makes more sense.

Thanks for doing these. Great to get acquainted with some of these products without the expense! I love the eyeshadow and even though the cream blush is light, it looked great. I have stayed away from powder eyeshadow because they seem to set into fine lines more than creamy ones. One quick comment regarding sunscreen- the numbers don't add up. The protection you get is from the highest you use. So putting a primer with 30 then adding foundation with 20 doesn't give you 50 but a SPF protection of 30 instead. I asked a dermatologist about this. 😉 Love your make up and you always look great!

For your dark spot after your Revlon test-try using the Smashbox Becca undereye concealer in *light shade*. This stuff works great over spots; add it before applying any makeup.

You tutorials are so very helpful. I was hoping you could help with a problem I have. I don't have hooked eyelids, I have baggy eyelids. Any suggestions on how to do my eye makeup?

I wish I had suggestions, I have not worked with that so I would only suggest look in the mirror straight on and apply the shadows and transition shades where the appropriate place would be over the baggy area. So don’t pull the skin taut to determine placement, but apply when the skin actually lays. I hope I am making sense.

Revlon is just one of those brands from the drugstore I don't gravitate to, I have a FEW of their products that are good but when I did my full face of Revlon several months ago, it was such a big fail. I used a lighter shade in the blush and it was just awful. The eyeliner broke off on camera just as I was doing my top lash line. Needless to say I think 3or 4 of the Revlon products ended up in my year end fail video. I just had the concealer in my latest video and by the end it was getting those little "shark fins" in the corners of my eyes and accentuating my fine lines. Yeah not the biggest fan of Revlon. I know, they don’t have a lot of products that I normally gravitate towards naturally, but their Infallible line is pretty good! And I was surprised I like the shadow and brow product as much as I do. They have made it into my every day make up bin

For me Revlon's strength is their lip products but I am looking for a new mascara, wont be this one bc the L'Oreal's have what's called 'forever chemicals' in them, great right? I know Neutrogena is also being sued for those as well as Palmer's skin care line. I wonder if these PFAs are also in the Lancome, Armani mascaras as L'Oreal owns them as well. Still on a no-buy but will need some new mascara by autumn, gulp. Yr look came out beautifully but what's up with that spray, lol, took half of it off! I historically use Nars and Revlon as my go-to. Like any brand, you will love some products more than others. As a makeup artist for 30 years working in TV, fashion and Film, I have found Revlon to be an excellent brand. The price point is exceptional, and the Brand remains current, if not a leader in innovation; they are the number 1 face brand in the world..for a reason. Application is essential, also understanding your skin type..if you use colour stay and you have mature skin, you may find your skin looks like a puckered butt crack :) Revlon products suit all skin types.. do your research, ask for samples and avoid being swayed by the hype of some Brands. I do agree with you regarding the blush. Not one of my favourites; however, so many Revlon blushes are wonderful. I also use some of my Revlon lippies as blush, depending on what look I'm creating.

I used to use Colorstay when i was younger, now it just accentuates my wrinkles. Powder of any kind would be horrible on my skin. Any suggestions?

I have used Revlon Colorstay for over 20 years. Unfortunately I am starting to have some separation on my chin. I tried Maybelline blur primer but it only helps a little and it breaks me out. I keep trying to research which primer to get. Maybe the primer and setting spray in this video will help. I was wondering if there is a particular primer that makes colorstay not separate on the chin- that works for many foundations. Or is it better to get a primer made by the brand of foundation?

I don't think the primer and foundation needs to be from the same brand. I wonder if color stay reformulated. A lot of make up has done that.

Truthfully, I only like more luxury products, if we could have a mid range...like a Nars or laura Mercier. Even Clinique. I know these cheapy, and very iffy products appeal to people, but when they end up being awful we need to replace . I have spent more in the drug store rather than buy the one i wanted in the first place. You can't please us all! I doenjoy upur videos but this isn't for me
